Summary: I own two of these tv's now. One is a older model with visible speakers on the front of the tv. I was worried about buying another one since they went slim line and no visible front speakers but after shopping around I noticed all tv's I saw had no front speakers. To my releif I purchased a new one and I can't tell the difference in sound. Picture is great ,3D gaming is great, with great vaule.
Summary: At 1080p and 120hz refresh rate, the picture quality is very crisp. I purchased a 3D bluray player, along with the 3D ver. of "Pacific Rim." The 3D popped off the screen, and was every bit as crisp as a normal bluray movie. TV comes with two pairs of glasses, which fit nicely over my moderately sized prescription glasses. The sound is pseudo-surround, and is quite adequate without external speakers, but for audiophiles, you'll want a true surround sound setup.
Summary: The TV is good, i just opened it up and did the set up. I dont like the youtube app because you cant adjust the resolution or size of video, since most youtube videos are low resulotion, it looks horrible on the TV. I got the TV primarily for gaming and i tried COD:Black ops & Black ops II. i like it, dont love it but i like it. The guide says i need a 3D Blue Ray player and 3d movies to take advantage of the 3D features on the TV.
Summary: I like the 3d I wanted lcd, smart functions, hd, and wifi wireless. On a scale between 32"-50". I got the 42" at a great price. I must have had an insight as I thought it was Internet capable. Bummer it is not. It does have hdmi and usb ports that was vital. In all unless something goes wrong I'm sorry happy. I just bought a 32" plasma affinity from target 3 mths ago. You have to turn it on and off twice to get the sound to work.
Summary: Recently our TV decided to call it quits. We were undecided on what new TV to purchase and as I was shopping around online I saw this TV on Amazon.com with great reviews, I decided to see if Walmart.com had it in stock and when I saw the price I knew I had just found our new TV. I love the picture quality, The sound at first was a little daunting to get right, but after adjusting it I find it to be working better than I expected.
Summary: i bought this TV VIZIO E420d-A0 42" 1080p 120Hz Class (3.32" ultra-slim) LED 3D Smart HDTV thinking that it has a SKYPE Apps based on some reviews... But unfortunately i bought the one that has NO SKYPE Apps, even in the Store Apps, there was no Apps to be installed and no way i can download it either.. can anybody tell me if i bought a refurbished tv or a defective non Skype tv..
Summary: The comparative lg model - lg 42la6200 is 615.00, with LG having widi as the big difference. I use this as a pc monitor primarily with the entertainment features as added bonuses. Not as crisp as the other high end monitors but better than my older lcd monitors. The 3d is great - with the glasses cheaper than the active glasses and a lot more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Can't wait for the glass free 3d that Vizio demoed at CES 2013.
Summary: I mostly use the tv for the 3D capabilities and this tv in my opinion is better than seeing a 3d movie in theaters. I've watched countless films in theaters that were too blurry for me to appreciate the film, but I rewatched once I got the tv and there is little to no more blur in those films. It sports a nice clean, sharp, and bright image. I also have come to admire the built in lighting sensor that adjusts the screen to the lighting in my living room.
