  • Summary: I purchased this TV in August 2014, three major issues. TV shuts itself off, TV on occasion emits a screeching sound. TV does not connect to my wireless router, the other wireless devices I have (EIGHT) all work fine.

Very Nice, But Too Small

John R., Newegg
4 April 2015
  • Summary: If 40" Is For You, Then Buy One.
  • Pros: Awesome & Beautiful Display. The Picture Quality Is WOW. Originally Bought It As A Computer Monitor For My High-End Lenovo Laptop And Also For My New Low-End HP Laptop And They Both Look Great On This 40" LED.
  • Cons: Not A Con On The TV. But A Con On My Part. I Should Have Gotten The 50" Version For My Needs. But I Do Have Use For This 40". I Play Lot's Of Music With Winamp. So With The Licensed G-Force In Winamp And This 40" LED Makes One Killer Light Show.

Great TV for the price

Philip M., Newegg
17 March 2015
  • Pros: No problems streaming content through wireless. Very nice that we can stream movie from our computer as well as streaming apps. Sound is great, picture is very nice.
  • Cons: The base seems a little loose when tightened all the way. The TV would never fall over though with this minor issue.

Good TV, but I wouldn't recommend buying refurbished

David G., Newegg
11 March 2015
  • Summary: The price of this refurbished model wasn't tremendously less than the price of a new model. I was expecting some kind of quality standard for refurbished items, but apparently there isn't one.
  • Pros: Large screen, 120hz refresh rate, 1080p, smart TV capabilities, reasonably priced.
  • Cons: Refurbished? The stand that it came with belonged to a different model and was heavily scratched. The TV has issues. It powers off when you play youtube videos that are longer than a few minutes. The inputs randomly stop working. It's like they took a broken unit and threw it in a box with whatev...

Awesome cheap TV

Bogdan O., Newegg
8 March 2015
  • Summary: Take reviews with a grain of salt, everyone has a different experience. I plan on purchasing another larger Vizio for my living room.
  • Pros: Awesome price point for the features. decent quality. lots of apps. Can stream from android phone (Netflix for example).
  • Cons: a few times there was some lag from the built in apps and needed to shut the TV off and on again to resolve. Honestly, this is a cheaper TV and don't expect stellar performance, but where it counts, picture quality and size, still worth buying.

  • Summary: Before purchasing a television, I did research but wish now I would have read reciews. We wee excited to get our first flat screen-I know-we were late. We chose this television because of the apps it had. We heard Vizio was a great brand. Wrong.

Kerry, Walmart
6 February 2015
  • Summary: I already have a smaller Visio TV, and bought a slightly larger one to put in my living room. The TV works great, (after a few calls to DirecTV with set-up problems), and it arrived in good condition. The only issue I had with this order was related to the ordering process.

VizioFrustrated, Walmart
6 February 2015
  • Summary: I purchased a brand new Vizio "Smart" TV and as soon as I set it up, I found a problem. The problem is that while watching Netflix, the TV exits Netflix and sometimes turns off the TV.
