Summary: If you're like me you might have some older A/V equipment with Composite outputs (the Yellow plug). While it's not mentioned in the overview, you'll be pleased to know that this television supports a composite input.
Summary: Vizio has pretty poor tech support in my experience. If, for example, you have an issue with an installed app they will basically blame the appmaker, who will in turn blame vizio, and neither party will assume responsibility nor attempt to resolve the problem.
Pros: Good picture, good set of options. Wifi, netapps, etc. Has been working fine with no issues.
Cons: There was a small chip on the inside of the screen. It's so small that I didn't bother paying to ship it back for a replacement(again) as I was already in the hole for shipping the first lg back that was defective.
Great TV, Vizio is great! ****MONITOR DELIVERY****
7 September 2012
Summary: We just ordered a Vizio television and it's great!! The picture is great, and the product performs as Vizio is known to!! The internet app are fun, they look great on the tv. The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because the first one I ordered was broken.
Summary: I am a solid SONY electronic buyer and I have never had an issue. However due to cost, and less of a high usage, I decided to purchase 2 of these Vizio HDTV's for my home. I bought a 22" for the kitchen and this 32" for my boy's bedroom.
Summary: PROS: Just bought this TV the other night and setup was easy, from a hardware point of view. Electronically connected to my DTV box and my home network with little effort, albeit, the remote was a bit touchy.
Summary: It wasn't obvious at first until it started doing it every day. Hope this helps someone else.
Pros: Good overall low priced TV.
Cons: Rebooting for me turned out to be the angled power cord that came with the TV. Bad crimp or something. Replaced it and all has been good. It started out just about once a week then up to several times a day.
Pros: Works Great (as expected). Great Bedroom TV. YouTube app updated itself the next day of power up. Initially, after power up ~2 times (and WiFi/Internet conencted), the apps update and youtube works great. The remote came with used marks and scratch, but TV works great and WiFi connected fast.
Cons: No Cons for the price. Some marks on remote.
Summary: I bought this when it was on a holiday sale for approx $250 w/ free shipping. After adding the warranty and shipping the total was approx $285. For this brand of TV, with the built-in WiFi and internet apps, this was an awesome deal. I think recertified is definitely a great way to go.
Pros: I've been very satisfied w/ Vizio products in the past, so I knew this one would be good as well. I'm always hesitant about recertified/ reconditioned electronics, but being a Vizio and coming from Newegg w/ their guarantee I felt comfortable. I also purchased the 1-year extended warranty, since ...
Cons: Other reviews had me a little worried because they mentioned experiencing a humming noise coming from the TV when it was turned on. Unfortunately, I too heard a humming noise initially. However, when I turned off my overhead ceiling fan the noise all but went away. This made me think the noise wa...
Summary: A lot of people are complaining about this noise it makes. I don't have mine connected to the internet, it just functions as a TV and monitor, and when I turn it off it doesn't make a constant noise.
Pros: The quality is very clean and wonderful! I plugged this into my laptop and where before I've had problems with it recognizing the correct resolution on this TV it recognized it instantly and fit perfectly. Changing the input doesn't lag; it switches from TV to Component to HDMI almost instantly.
Cons: The backlight was a little weak when I got it but all it took was navigating the menu to find the option to turn it up. This probably increases the power usage, but oh well. It looks wonderful now.
