Summary: This television has survived a move to Afghanistan and back, and still functions beautifully. The picture is clear and crisp, and the sound on it is not at all distorted sounding or low quality like many other televisions we have had.
Summary: BEFORE I GET INTO WRITING THIS REVIEW I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT MY ALL CAPS TYPING IS INDICATIVE OF ME BEING LAZY. THAT BEING SAID I BOUGHT THIS SET IN DEC. 2010 AND ALL WAS GREAT UNTIL ABOUT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO.
Summary: besides the few times the speakers every glitched out they work great. This is a great choice for someone who wants a good quality, and cheap TV
Pros: Works amazingly for a refurbished TV, I really settled when I decided to get a 720p tv and I actually dont regret it, the picture quality is amazing, the screen had no scratches or any signs of wear, I thought i might have been sent a new tv on accident!
Cons: The very few problems I did have with this tv were minor, the 3rd HDMI input does not work, but that doesnt matter to me. The speakers are a little buggy, for the most part it works great, but if I play a game where the music blasts suddenly or has very high bass the speakers get really loud (bey...
Summary: I rate this item poorly due to volume control.....can't hear the program.... then you turn up the volume and then when a commercial comes on it blasts you out of the room....this happens with every channel...every program. My biggest issue with this TV is that it turns completely off..
Summary: 1 egg off for the scratches and scuffs, but won't matter much to me because this is for the kid's play room. May want to consider if this is going to be your main tv.
Pros: Nice TV for the price. Nice picture. This TV is new @ Walmart for 260.00 so buying refurb I saved about 50.00. Nice that it has many buttons on this side for power, etc. I have another Vizio that doesn't. May come in handy when the kids loose the remote.
Summary: Ignore the comment next to this.. There is no reason to give it 1 Egg....only if your LCD was smashed. Its a refurb and they send it to ya in proper "working order". The clips are made to hold the base temp. until you can get the screws in.
Pros: Great Condition. Works like new. Setup is easy. Very Plug and Play For a refurb, its not all that bad. Very little trash with packaging. Comes with Remote, 2 batteries, Power cable, and a small setup guide...simple.
Cons: Packaging was a little rough. No detailed instruction Manual, but it takes common sense to put it together.
Summary: I completely understand that these are refurbished and do not expect perfection but basic functionality should be required in order to sell these televisions. Are they just that cheep or is there no Q.A.? In my opinion this has failed in two ways. A.
Pros: Was RMA-able, one of two customer service reps was helpful.
Cons: Functionality. - First TV was received May 30th and RMA'd due to a line at the top of the screen. First customer service rep was very empathetic and helpful even offered rapid shipping. TV shipped back June 2nd. - Second TV was received on June 19th and only half of a functioning screen (the righ...
Summary: Very, very disappointed. It might have been a mistake, and Vizio might have sent me the wrong box, but I doubt it. I'm guessing not all of their "refurbished" sets are this bad, so it's possible I was just very unlucky.
Pros: Surprisingly, it actually turns on, and it arrived relatively quick.
Cons: The television is in bad shape, poorly packaged and looked very used. One of the clips on the stand for the base was broken; but that seemed minor compared to the rest. I honestly couldn't believe Vizio would actually send something like this to a customer. I should have immediately sent it back,...
