Summary: this is a great tv for the money, i wasn't a big fan of vizio but i gotta admit the brand has proved me wrong. It's a great upgrade from the bulky tv i had for the living room. I'm pretty satisfied with this tv, it was a very good deal!!!
Summary: I bought this TV to replace an old living room TV. Item functions well and is easy to use. Looks great in the living room. It is used mostly by two older adults who are not tech savvy. They find it fairly easy to use and enjoy it. The only thing I don't like is the limited number of inputs. It's fine if you are using HDMI cords, but if you have an older DVD player or want to hook up a Wii system, then it doesn't work.
Summary: Thank you for making an cheap 1080p HDTV that is actually really good. It's nice looking, very thin and perfect size (24in) for my room. However, I do wish that there was at least one more HDMI input, for now I must share the one with my cable box and my internet streamer. Oh well, it's probably worth more than it's price, so the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the amount of inputs.
Excerpt: We've had this TV for several months now and don't have any complaints about the tv. We are having some problems with the remote at times. it is almost like it has a time delay of a few seconds after we hit the button and that can be really annoying. But the TV is great. Picture quality is really good and it was priced well. We don't have cable at our house but we do get about 8 channels. They come through much better on our Vizio than they do on the Sanyo that we have.
Excerpt: I purchased my Vizio for around $150 dollars less than the other available brands comparable high definition flat screen televisions. I am more than happy with it but I can see where the money was saved. My biggest issue is ventilation and heat ouput, this television gets SO hot in the back that on hot days I have to run a fan near it to prevent that hot component board smell.
Good quality set, a lot cheaper than the other brands

Excerpt: I think that, for the price I paid for this TV set from Walmart, it was a great value. No, it isn't 1080p and it doesn't have internet connection built in, but for this price point you can't really expect to get it ALL for around $300. The picture quality is fantastic I think, and at this size the difference betwenn 720P and 1080P is negligible. I am using this TV for my bedroom, and for a medium to large sized bedroom this is more than enough picture size.
