Summary: Bought this for our guest bedroom and thought it was great. And it was. At least for the first month or so... Everytime I turn it on now, it works for about 5 minutes, then the screen goes black while the audio works. After much research, I've learned that many, many, Many people have voiced their similair complaints about vizio tvs. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
Summary: This TV is not going to be used a whole lot, so I got one that was refurbished, a decent size and it works GREAT...just 'what the doctor ordered' :) Price/value in this was what I was looking for...a good deal for where it is to be used...the sound is not great, but the picture is fine.
Summary: I bought the refurbished Vizio E241i almost a month ago and so far everything have been good with it. I would recommend it for a kitchen or small bedroom option- it's an excellent small TV, has all the apps most of us need, looks great and the picture and sound quality are great, perhaps better than many larger TVs. Easy setup and small sharp looking remote control add to the feel of functionality and grace ...
Summary: Excellent picture quality, just like its' sister the E221-A1, only bigger! I should mention, form the outset, that the panels on these Vizio TVs are very fragile. They are not made of glass like older conventional TV sets, therefore the panels can be permanently damaged very easily. If you were to knock the set over and something hits the panel hard, for example, they can't be repaired. I found this out the hard way.
Summary: I was told by the shipping department the the TV would be delivered on June 27th. I was going out of town from June 21 to the JUNE 23rd so I did not expect the TV until June 27th based on the shipping dept. delivery date. I came home on Sunday June 22nd and the TV was leaning against my front door in the Vizio box with a picture of a TV on the box.
Summary: I purchased this item as an alternative to using a seperate monitor and TV in a small office work area. I utilized the HDMI input from my conputer and the TV cable from the wall to have a dual purpose screen. the 1080i is the only way to go for sharp crisp pictures using both HDMI and cable inputs. My only negative is the sound quality, but the end user must understand that packing a high quality speaker in a thin package is just not going to happen.
Summary: Vizio is complete garbage. I've had this TV all of 6 weeks and it doesn't stay on! And it isn't even the refurbished model. Do not buy Vizio, online is of full of similar complaints. Research and see!
