VIZIO VW26L HDTV10F, hdtvreview.com
6 February 2011
  • Summary: Couldn't recommend Vizio, although it appears from others' comments on other brands' some don't start out with good picture or sound at all! My Vizio performed beautifully until it died.
  • Pros: Beautiful picture and design; sound fine.
  • Cons: Didn't last beyond 3 years; paid $500 at Walmart in 2008, in 2011, one month after Walmart's 2yr Extended Warranty expired, got no power (learned it is common). Cost to repair close to current purchase price of current models approx over $200.

  • Pros: Good TV when it worked
  • Cons: Power supply blew up after 378 days, company would do nothing about it. I would never suggest a Visio

  • Conclusion: The sound system is not the best, but for a bedroom or your kidsroom it's ok. My 10 year old boy likes the fact that he can hook his laptop up to it. I would recommend it as a good alternative to the expensive flat screen LCD TVs.
  • Pros: This Vizio LCD HDTV with Digital Tuner has clear, bright picture with perfect lifelike colors. Good instructions help you to setup it very easy.
  • Cons: Viewing it at an angle, you can notice that the picture gets darker, but nothing dramatic.
