Summary: Viewsonic continues to produce well crafted video products and this tv is no exception. Lots of inputs (3 HDMI) including an "S Video" that seems to be going away on other units. Picture and sound are fine the only complaint I have is that some of menu text seems to be too small. All and all a good quality product...
Summary: I purchased this tv to fit into an armoire in my bedroom. It is not bad for a smaller basic HDTV and the price was right. I have only had it for about 5 weeks but so far it has seemed to be a good buy. The set up was easy, color is good and it has a nice sharp picture. The sound is somewhat tinny but is acceptable for a bedroom.
Summary: Perfect size for a bedroom wall. Great picture with beautiful colors. Sound is better than expected and surpasses most other flat-screen TVs that I've seen/heard. Would give this item five stars except for a few knit-picky issues that drive me nuts. 1.) The Closed-Captioning is positioned right in the middle of the screen and is so small that it cannot be read at a resonable distance.
Summary: Bought this HDTV because it was a hard to find 27" not a 26" and while Viewsonic is not known for TVs their flat monitors have generally been good products. I have measured it and it is a true 27. Nice picture and excellent side to side viewing. I gave it 4 stars because the top to bottom viewing is very variable. To explain: I have the tv on a stand in the kitchen which is 37" high. When I view the tv sitting at the kitchen counter the picture is fine.
Summary: I love the picture on the tv, especially HD. My complaint is that you can't see the volume and other controls, like sleep timer, because the visuals are too light to see unless you stand on top of the tv and squint. Can't understand why company make this error. Notwithstanding, a great value for the price.
Summary: After much searching I finally decided to go with the ViewSonic VT2730 for my "man cave". I have had very good luck with their monitors for my desktops in the past and figured that the same quality would be extended to their HDTV's, I was right. The picture is great and the native 1080p resolution is a great thing to have.
Summary: ViewSonic VT2730 27-Inch 1920x1080 LCD Flat-Panel HDTV Set up well, easy to program. When dynamic contrast is set, the tv screen tends to turn toal black on very dark scenes with some little light areas. Lacks video output. Other wise the performance is good. Manual lacks details about on screen set up and adjustment.
Summary: Product shipped on time in a box that was adequate for shipping (as opposed to the reports of other reviewers - TV was packaged in it's display box, but there was enough padding to ensure safe delivery) The screen quality has proven acceptable for all manners of tasks, from gaming, to use with a computer through vga port, to watching tv, excluding a single dead pixel in the bottom left corner (which I understand is essentially expected with monitors past a certain size).

Summary: I recently bought my family a 27" iMac and began to wonder why I had to settle with a 21" monitor for my home office PC. After some research I bought this ViewSonic 27" monitor and have been pleased. WARNING: DO NOTE USE THE INSTALLATION DISK if you have Adobe Pro installed on your PC.
