Summary: I bought this TV to use as a TV and a dual monitor for my computer. The TV part is great. The problem is in the PC mode. The 1st one I got had the PC image shifted 4" up from the bottom of the screen, and the top part of the image wasn't visible.
Summary: The Viewsonic VT2430 is a 24-inch, LCD television.Compared to other LCD TVs on the market, it is inexpensive at around $390.This flat-TV is an LCD display, which is generally the best kind of flat-panel screen for viewing in brightly-lit rooms.
Summary: I received my ViewSonic on 6-7-10> Started to Set it up, The next morning when I went to turn it on it didn't turn on just set there and flash a picture of three birds off and on. I couldn't even turn it off only way to stop it was to unplug it/ I called VtewSonic customer support hoping that there...
Summary: I have purchased two of these, from two different vendors. Both TVs worked great for a day or two, then both had the exact same problem. The 'on/off' switch would stick, blink ominously, then remain stuck in the 'on' position.
Summary: Sadly -- this may not be anyone's fault except the shipper. The box was crushed when it arrived -- it should have been put into another box for shipping. I suppect it had been dropped. The on and off power button would not work. All you could get was a picture of 3 birds on the front of the screen.
Summary: As with others, the unit I received is broken--powers on and off over and over again. The viewsonic logo appears for a moment when the unit is on. Craptacular. Worthless. Returning. Roll the dice, maybe you'll get a good unit.
Summary: Viewsonic 2430 LCD TV/Monitor. I unpacked the TV, it is a good looking TV. I did the setup and watched for about an hour. I set the sound to SRS, this may be important. I turned off the TV, when I went to turn it back on it would only show the start screen, then it would recycle endlessly.
Summary: I purchased this TV for my home and what I came to know when I received this TV, Its a piece of crap !!! It only worked for 2 minutes and after that it keeps on rebooting and every time I can just see the stupid ViewSonic logo.
Summary: Plugged it in, nice picture and sound for a guest bedroom. Turned it off. Next day turned it back on...kept rebooting. Figured it was the cable box. Nope. With just the power cable plugged in kept rebooting....also noticed one stuck pixel. Called tech support.
