Wow

Ryan W., Newegg
26 May 2006
  • Summary: The analog cable picture is just fine in my opinion. If you sit two feet away it looks kind of bad but at a reasonable distance you can't complain. DVDs on s-video are beautiful. Some reviewers complain about speaker hiss.
  • Pros: Price, 1080i, good speakers. I have had this tv for two months and still not a single dead pixel. Amazing quality for the price.
  • Cons: No HDMI, remote is kind of cheap.

Awesome!

Jason H., Newegg

  • Pros: This TV has been great since day one. Watching HDTV and playing Xbox360 games are great at 1280x720. Other people say they notice little ghosting while playing Xbox360, but I have yet to see this myself. This is a great buy! NewEgg.com does it again!
  • Cons: None thus far!

Excellent TV

Mr. A., Newegg
30 March 2006
  • Summary: By far still an excellent deal.
  • Pros: Great tv for the money, everything looks excellent on it.
  • Cons: There are only 3 things really that I can think of are: 1- The instruction manual is very difficult to understand and navigate and all I do all day is look over legal documents, so that should tell you something. 2- The remote is just awkward all the way around. 3- Only one set of component video...

  • Pros: Purchased this unit for my father who has poor eyesight and was straining to see the text on his 17" LCD. We both are very impressed with the brightness and clarity of unit. No dead pixels.
  • Cons: I don't have one of my own. ^_^

Cant wait from work to watch TV...

Henry N., Newegg
23 March 2006
  • Summary: Compared with other LCD with the same size, this is the best buy for your money. You wont regret buying this one...
  • Pros: Since I had this unit, cant wait from work to go home so i can watch HD . I watch HDTV using ATI HDTV Wonder , cant believe what my eyes are seeing, truly crisp, bright and clear even better than watching live. Im using it as a PC monitor in full 1360x768 using VGA -picture quality is excellent in...
  • Cons: IN DVI mode, can only display 1024x768 and lower res in DVI . Setting it to 1280x720 produces flashing pixels in some areas w/c is irritating. Cant display in 1360x768 .

Five Stars

  • Summary: Great TV for a decent price compared to other LCDs. I have the 37 inch version in the Den, works awesome (Cable, DVI, D-Sub)too.
  • Pros: Bought this for my 13 year old; He uses it mostly as a game monitor with the DVI connection to a EVGA Geforce 6800 card. Works perfect! He runs this thing like 24 hours a day (spring break) no problems. Just a big grin.
  • Cons: Now I want one for my room.

Great potential

Stephan B., Newegg
22 March 2006
  • Summary: Its a good monitor for looking at SD. But its blurry compared to any other LCD monitor I seen with with any DVI, VGA or componant inputs.
  • Pros: The LCD screen is bright, and the resolution good (1368x768)
  • Cons: 1) The monitor doesn't scan the DVI or VGA input correctly. skiping a frame every second. 2) doesn't expose the native res (its not 1280x768 or 1280x720)

Pretty Sweet But...

Mason B., Newegg
20 March 2006
  • Summary: For the money, this is the way to go!!!
  • Pros: Nice picture, very bright. Awesome as a PC monitor!!! Impress the h@ll out of everyone you know!!!
  • Cons: 1 Bright pixel... I would rather have a dead one than one that gleams red whenever a bright animation is on. Beware - This can happen to you, and they WILL NOT return it if you have 1-7 of them, just like dead pixels... Max resolution is not that high.

User Review

  • Summary: Doesn't swivel, but no problem, how many TV's out there do? Turn down brightness a little when you first get it.
  • Pros: Flawless. No dead pixels, looked for at least twenty minutes without finding one. Halo 2 is spectacular on this.
  • Cons: Sound is a little bad, but I'm used to quality speakers. No worse than any other TV you'll buy. Hooked up to my receiver, and it made it all better.
