Summary: We were happy with the product until last months, The TV only have half screen working. The other half turn black or blinking line. This is really disappointing. We will never buy Toshiba again. My last Sony and Sumsung last over 10 years without any problems. I called repair man he said i have to pay for trouble shooting and i have to pay for the shipping and i have to pay to send it for them to look if they can repair my TV..
Summary: My family bought this tv 3 years ago for about $1,100. We wall mounted it. Now the whole left side of the screen does not show the picture. I understand from other postings online that we are not the only ones to have this problem. Apparently, the weight of the tv on wall mounting is too much for this tv to take and causes the tv to break. While the picture quality is good on this tv (on the right half of the screen), we need to replace it after only 3 years.
Summary: I've had the same problem as many others - a 6 inch wide portion of the screen is out, from the top to bottom of the middle of the screen. This happened just outside of the warranty period. I hope this review deters anyone contemplating purchasing a Toshiba from doing so.
Summary: 3 years after I purchased this tv, the vertical line starts to appear on the tv and blocking 1/3 or my tv screen. And looks like a lot of people are having the same issue with this tv model. So go with Sharp instead!!
Summary: This TV was great--right up until it broke. Almost three years to the day after we bought it, I turned it on to discover a thick bar of colored vertical lines down the middle of the screen. Apparently this is a common problem with this model. Definitely avoiding Toshiba next time around, though I suppose this can happen with any brand. They're just not made to last.
Summary: I got this tv for its price and do not regret it. It is what i expected. The only drawbacks to it are: Definition of the images are poorer on channels that don't broadcast on HD than with other HD TVs The menus and options take some getting used to Colors are less bright than on other TVs The table stand allows for some rocking, so you might want to secure the tv with some sturdy straps on the back as the tv is heavy.
