Cons: Purchased on 3/10/2009 from newegg - Died Nov 2011 With no warning suddenly 1/3 of the screen has color bars on it. A quick web search shows this is common and expensive to fix. For $1300 you should get more than 2 years out of a TV. Save yourself the heartache and money- avoid Toshiba.
Summary: Owned 3 Toshiba large screens so far and none have ever failed.
Pros: 110% happy with this product. Amazing features and performance for the value. Great Hi Def picture. Easily set up, easy to use. Hook up your computer, get a bluetooth mouse and now surf from your couch too. My family loves it. Purchased in March 09 when they were priced ALOT higher.
Summary: After much research and viewing the picture quality in a local store the color reproduction and quality exceeded that of other comparable models with similiar specifications. I would recommend this television to anyone.
Pros: Beautiful picture out of the box with no adjustments needed. Setup was very quick and easy. The connections are plentiful and left room for expansion in the future. I found the menus relatively easy to navigate but had to reference the manual on occasion to figure out exactly what some of the fea...
Summary: I went from a 40" Samsung to the 52" REGZA, and let me tell you, those extra 12"s go a long way! I also like how the TOSHIBA sign can light up, it also has a feature to turn it off too. I would buy this again if I wanted another TV. And I highly recommend it to anyone that want a HDTV as well.
Pros: This thing is big! Has great colors and great for gaming. HDTV is great also. I just watched a basketball game and it looked real. The refresh rate is good also. Its kinda like a mini-theater in my house. I love this REGZA so much.
Cons: Not 100% piano gloss finish. Oh well, who looks at the back anyways!
Summary: Comes with 5 pre-set picture settings, which each varry enough to make them worthwhile. Between a few friends we each liked a different setting best, so there should be something for everyone (not to mention the preferences setting which lets you tweak everything).
Pros: Numerous connections, including 4 HDMI with 3 being in the back. Has a ridiculous amount of picture settings. In fact, I have still not tested out all the options and I've had the TV for a few days. Great color vibrance and very good blacks. I have not noticed any ghosting or streaking while watc...
Cons: There is no option to turn the speakers off and have the volume adjust from the TV when using the RCA audio outputs. Not sure if the Optical Audio out is the same way. If you have a stereo (in my case 4.1 computer speakers) hooked up to the TV that doesn't have a remote, you have to adjust the so...
