I have owned this TV for a little over 2 years. It was a great TV while it worked. Recently the right 40% of the screen stopped working, with the image being replaced by a colorful kaleidoscope of vertical lines. After confirming that the problem was with the TV and not the cables or signal source, I looked on the Internet and was surprised to find how frequent this problem is with 52" Toshiba hdtvs of varying designations. I bought it broken and repaired it with a cheap $25 part. There's reports of failures but my 2008 TV still looks and performs great. Speakers are amazing and it looks amazing. Also has several inputs on the back. Read more

I play xbox and watch sports and this baby is exactly what i needed. Went from a 28" Sony 480 to a 52" Toshia 1080p!!!! I will be happy for a long time. Thank you newegg for the quick delivery!! Read more
