Summary: Displays a wonderful picture. Colors are vibrant and blacks are handled well. I went from a Hisense to a Toshiba and I have no regrets! Rated features as average because it is a non-smart television and does not offer any ground breaking features.
Summary: A pretty good TV................................... Glad i bought it...................................... Recommend it....................................... Would but another one.......................... Havea great day.....................................

Summary: When I first tried watching a live action movie I almost lost it and took the tv straight back! The soap opera effect is annoying, and it was causing pixilation whenever someone turned their head or moved there hands! However, I calmed down and did some research, and then turned the ClearFrame OFF! And I now love this TV!
Pros: Great Value for Price! Image is great, low energy cost, decent sound for flat screen, 3 HDMI hook ups and one AV. Fiber Optic sound hookup. USB port. PC hook up. Love the image when watching HD movies, or playing HD games.
Cons: No WI-Fi and slow to power up. You have to turn clear rate off in order to get rid of soap opera effect and distortion when watching live action movies, but once off problem is solved.
Summary: If you are looking for a good LED television with a great picture and viewing angle but can do without all the smart features that come on the higher priced televisions then this is the television for you. The only gripe I have is there is not as many settings you can change for picture/audio etc as other televisions, but overall for the price of this television I'm very happy with it.
Summary: I bought this TV to use solely as a computer monitor. For this purpose the 50L5200U is perfect, despite needing a little time getting it set up specifically for a computer. For a computer you need to set "Game Mode" to On and "Pic Size" to Native. Even if you turn off Film Stabilization but don't turn on Game Mode you'll have a significant lag.
Summary: I will let the folks a CNET get into the details. But this TV gives you great bang for the buck. If you are like me and did not need/want features like webapps, 3D, local dimming, and 240Hz. This offers great picture quality at a good price. CNET review: [...
Summary: Set this TV up yesterday, was quite easy. The picture is awesome! Many have complained about the sound, but really does any flat screen TV have great sound? My other TV a Sony 32" doesn't, my friend's Samsung doesn't, nor have I heard great sound on any of them. I put a Coby sound bar on, sounds great now!
Summary: The thing that attracted me to this tv is the fact that it has 3 HDMI inputs while most tv's in this range only offer 2. I really don't understand the thinking that goes behind selling higher end TV's with more HDMI connections. If the tv has internet connectivity built in, that is one LESS HDMI connection that is required, but if you are like me and want to add a streaming network player, you need that extra HDMI connection if you already are using the other 2 for...
