Summary: Beautiful tv ,clear picture, especially in HD,some programs feel like your there.we like the clear frame around black housing ,the way the name Toshiba Lights up on the bottom ,the sound is good in mono which we use ,in stereo surround it is a little boxy, but most use external setups , the price was a bargain @ 700.00 thru ebay, delivered it retails for 1699.00, for a led tv with 120 hertz and 3,0000,00 contrast and wifi ,have not tried the wifi yet, have not tried that...
Summary: I think the rating on this tv is pretty much right on, 4.5 stars. To the people that rated it 2 stars, that is just harsh! You didn't order a tv and get a microwave - read the product description before you buy it. Anyway, having said that there are definite Pros and Cons to this tv. Most if not all of them have been listed already but, in case you care what I think (I know, you don't) I will tell you anyway. I must warn you - I am a nerd, however I am not a tv nerd.
Summary: The purchase arrived before the estimated delivery date.... Service was great..... We have had the set only four weeks but so far we have had no problems...Since it was a major purchase we did purchase an extended warranty. I usually do not do that but there just isn't a lot of info out there on a LED-LCD TV.
Summary: Toshiba 46UX600U 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED LCD HDTV with Net TV (Black Gloss) by Toshiba A great picture with wonderful reviews. You can't go wrong with this 46" LED LCD 120 Htz. from Toshiba But a much better price thru the end of November is from Costco warehouse ~$899.99 (after instant $100 rebate)
Summary: Unlike some people have posted, I have not noticed any light spots in the corners of the screen when viewing darker scenes on this unit. TV exceeded my expectations and for a great price. It is true that it seems Toshiba did not put a lot into the sound system of this TV. That may explain one reason for the lower price than a Samsung or Sony, however I am the kind of buyer where I would rather they sink all production cost into outstanding picture quality vs.
Toshiba 46UX600U 46" 1080p 120Hz LED LCD HDTV w/NET TV
4 October 2010
Summary: I purchased this most EXCELLENT LED HDTV this past July, 2010, at a price almost $300 MORE than listed today and have not ONE single regret! I was first introduced to an LED 1080p "screen" with my new HP 17.3" AMD Dual-Core laptop w/BluRay player. The CLARITY, CRISPNESS and contrast ratio of the screen on my laptop was nothing shy of AMAZING and I knew, then, that the next (first) HDTV I was going to purchase was going to be an LED HDTV.
Summary: Went to J&R to buy a new tv and in the showroom this was the sharpest TV in the 1,000-1,500 range. Better than similar Sony and Samsung models. I previously had a Sony DLP tv and wanted to upgrade after 6 years.. this new Toshiba has 4 HDMI's, optical audio output, very thin border around tv makes picture look like it's floating. Has sleep fucntion too which I love. Also carried it home w/ my pops - very light. Great product so far..
Pros: Great Picture Quality, Outstanding picture clarity/resolution
Summary: So far, we love this television! We've only owned it for about 2 weeks, but the picture is phenomenal. We don't even have HDTV (yet), but the picture is wonderful even when viewed with a digital signal. We have watched a couple of blu-ray movies and the color and clarity is simply gorgeous. This TV has so many bells and whistles, it's unbelievable.
Fantastic, at least for my limited needs (Media center display)
28 July 2010
Summary: My review is very limited in scope and my direct experience of competitive models is almost nil, but I may have a few observations which someone may well find useful. I need it as nothing but an HDMI monitor for a computer based media center. As such, it needs to output the digital HDMI video signal and that's about it. No audio - I use a separate receiver/speakers. I just want it to do a good pixel-perfect output with minimal processing. I'm loving it.
