Summary: Can take several seconds to power up, but other than that I love it. It is a no-nonsense 1080p TV with 3 HDMI ports. None of that "smartTV" garbage that all the manufacturers are trying to peddle. I especially like the "half-mute" feature, which I hadn't seen before.
Summary: I bought one of the Toshiba LED LCD TV a while ago in a smaller screen size. This larger size is just perfect to watch movies from my Apple TV. I love the low standby power requirement. Overall a very nice TV that is super slim and easy to mount to a wall (with a special kit).
Summary: Super picture without all the smart features or 3D. 1 missing feature for me, Variable output control for the sound bar, damn! With it, the sound bar would turn up and down with the TV volume.
Summary: Perfect right out of the box. This is my third flat screen TV and normally there are adjustments that have to be made to the color settings. Not with this one. I really wish I needed another TV because this one is a no brainer. I have had it for 5 months and have YET to find one thing I do not like.
Summary: 1st unit was damaged on receipt (minus 1/2 egg to Toshiba for not protecting the screen better) but I put it back because Newegg took care of it better than I could have hoped. I did get the Toshiba 300 watt soundbar with it, and the sound is excellent and they communicate well together.
Summary: Ive never owned a tv as large as this one, and I couldn't be happier with my first purchase of one! Perfect size for my apartment, excellent picture quality, impressive sound quality for a flat screen, incredibly thin, and very easy to use.
Summary: The Toshiba replaces a Hitachi that finally died. This is one fine TV, and my friends flip out when I tell them it cost a total of $699. My only complaint is a small one, hence the 5-star rating: the TV takes about 10 seconds to come on. Other than that, the perfect set for the price.
