Summary: The TV failed after 2 years. I now have to replace the main board. I cant get a quote from an authorized repair facility, or the part from the Toshiba reseller. One repair facility did say they would give me a quote if I gave them $20 to diagnose the issue. Anyway this TV is garbage.
Summary: Stay away! Google the tv & all you will see is problems with blank screens. From only a few months old on. Mine died after 2yrs. I took it to an authorised Tishiba repair shop where they originally said $200 to fix.
Summary: My remote control was not working so I had to deal with Toshiba support. First of all support team is all foreigners and very hard to understand. I gave them all my information and then the guy told me he would have someone else call me because he could not register my TV.
Summary: My TV stopped working when I had it only a year and two months. Screen just went black! Tech Support for Toshiba is pathetic to say the least. Most 18year old kids know more about a tv then they do. Stay away from this manufacturer!
Summary: Can take several seconds to power up, but other than that I love it. It is a no-nonsense 1080p TV with 3 HDMI ports. None of that "smartTV" garbage that all the manufacturers are trying to peddle. I especially like the "half-mute" feature, which I hadn't seen before.
Summary: I bought one of the Toshiba LED LCD TV a while ago in a smaller screen size. This larger size is just perfect to watch movies from my Apple TV. I love the low standby power requirement. Overall a very nice TV that is super slim and easy to mount to a wall (with a special kit).
Summary: This television is the best value-for-money LED TV on the market. It's incredibly easy to set up, has plenty of connectivity options, and the picture is crisp! The audio is decent quality as well. If you don't need the features of a smart TV then this is your guy!
Summary: Super picture without all the smart features or 3D. 1 missing feature for me, Variable output control for the sound bar, damn! With it, the sound bar would turn up and down with the TV volume.
