Summary: I got this TV as a Christmas present to myself, I have been very pleased with it. The 3d uses polarized glasses, so they are not too bulky. The regular non-3d tv has a very good image. Set up was a breeze. I have only one complaint.
Summary: Have been using a 15 year old 36" analog TV monster (from Toshiba) forever and, being totally happy with Toshiba for many years on various products, found this unit with so many bells and whistles, and at a such a great price, that I couldn't resist.
Pros: The screen can be easily watched from any angle and the HD picture is very sharp and bright. We played ordinary DVD and there were several scenes where it looked as though the actors were sitting right there. The 3D is excellent and clear. You do not have to adjust your eyes for the 3D at all. Th...
Summary: For $6-700 dollars, this tv has the features of a $800+ model with good wifi integration. Only downside is lack of a qwerty remote
Pros: This is my first HDTV. I got it cheap from here (time for 2011 close outs). What I really wanted in a tv was upnp/dlna wifi. Of TVs that have wifi, only a few brands have true upnp, and Toshiba is one. From that regard, it works very well, streaming mkv over wifi g works great. This tv is really ...
Cons: Only digital audio out. No headphone or composite out. No qwerty remote, which makes Netflix searching difficult. It is easier to add to queue on another device and then choose on the tv. Also, the USB inputs don't allow for divx playing, only mp3 and jpg (mpeg2 also)
Pros: The picture is great, the 3d is cool but i remember it being better in theaters(probably due to the larger screen size).
Cons: TV can take up to twenty seconds to turn on, just an inconvenience, but with the quality its worth the wait. Takes a few seconds switching between HDMI's. From what I heard the speakers weren't so great, I use a home theater system with the digital optical output on the TV anyways.
Summary: Toshiba 42TL515U 42-Inch Natural 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Net TV, Black Pros: Does what it is supposed to do!! Picture quality is very nice. Streams easily to Netflix and Vudu. Easy to use. LOVE IT! Cons: Does not stream to Amazon Video On Demand or Hulu.
Summary: If you encounter any sound problems with this TV, like I did when I first turn it on, then dont worry. My TV made everyone sound like a high pitch child. Reset the TV via the menu. (Note the TV will turn off after the reset.) Connect your HDMI cable before turning the TV back on.
Pros: Nice Picture. Very Nice Price. The TV is thinner than the width of my hand. If you encounter any sound problems with this TV like I did when I first turn it on, then dont worry. My TV made everyone sound like a high pitch child.
Cons: The TV is so thin that you'll feel nervous moving around. Also, the manufactures box is extremely thin, but the TV was in perfect condition when I opened the box. The sound is not perfect but much better than expected.
Summary: The reviews are true about a couple of things; and those things are the 3D pic quality, and the 240hz frame rate. The 3D picture resolution does slightly lower, but that happens on every Passive 3D tv, and hey.....
Pros: I don't have the words to express how much I love this tv! The picture quality is fantastic, and that's just the beginning! Gaming is a spectacular experience, especially in 3D. Glasses are much cheaper than 150$ a pair Active Glasses. 3D Blu-Ray movies really do pack a punch, and I got this tv f...
