Summary: Yesterday my new HDTV arrived, but I wasn’t that impressed. The quality was only a bit better than before, obviously a larger screen, and the sound wasn’t much better than my old TV. So I called Comcast Cable as I had a hunch that some of my problems was the cable box. Sure enough Comcast said I had an old analog cable box and I’d would need to upgrade to a digital box if I wanted better reception. The cost of upgrading would cost me $9.95 more per month.
Pros: sleek looking easy to assemble sound system is fantastic
Summary: We got this TV to get the biggest picture yet still fit in an existing entertainment unit. The picture is fantastic. Blue ray movies are fantastic and high definition satellite shows really pop. We have been very pleased with this TV. We were also extremely impressed that Overstock.com shipped this TV the right way. Even though Toshiba packs their TVs better than others, Overstock.com bubble wrapped the box that the TV came in.
Summary: First of all this fit in my cabinet, and it was really hard to find a 40" that would. The picture is incredible, even non-hd channels. I wish it had been less expensive, but you get what you pay for. Completely happy with the tv.
Summary: This is a high quality 40 inch TV that will fit in places where many 37 inch models won't. The thin bezel design means that this TV is just about all picture, with a very thin border around the edge. However, that doesn't mean that the sound suffers as a result. The sound is more than adequate. This TV will show true HD 1080p, and standard definition TV looks nice as well. i am extremely satisified with this purchase.
