Summary: I spent several days reviewing and comparing this unit with other brands. My parameters; price, screen size, weight, clarity of picture, available adjustments, available ports, NetTV content, durability, recent technology, firmware upgrades and compatibility with decor.
Summary: I bought this tv October 7, 2010 and I received it in 3 days with free shipping!. When I first saw these LED TVs, the first thing I looked at was the price. The prices were outrages and I was not about to spend that much money for one TV.
Summary: The Toshiba 40UX600U was delivered via UPS and arrived perfectly. Un-boxing the unit was a snap and all the accessories were included as promise. Setting up the unit was also simple including the Wi-Fi feature. I am very happy with the high quality picture that the TV puts out.

Cons: Minor light leakage from the corners, but only visible on completely dark images. Manufacturer has few service locations in my area, which isn't Toshiba's fault since I live in the Middle of Nowhere, CA. No shielding in front of the screen; if you damage the surface at all, the pixels cease to fu...
Summary: This is our first LCD TV. I was not playing a lot with it, but after hooking it up to our MacBook Pro 17" (via mini-display to HDMI adapter and HMDI cable) I was blown away with the quality of picture.
