Summary: Toshiba 40UX600U uses another group of Widgets and doesn't include Netflix. I purchased a Netgear ROKU XD box in order to obtain Netflix. The glass reflections when using this TV in my sunroom were just too much, so I located the Samsung in the sunroom and use the Toshiba 40UX600U in the Living room.
Summary: Very happy with the transaction dealing with Amazon as I lost my purchase before completing with the order with my credit card and a representative with Amazon helped me retreave my order I was in process of completing. I found this very helpful as I otherwise would not have been able to complete purchase. The company that my item came from in Arizona, completed transaction as stated and handling with UPS was timely.
Summary: I have had this Toshiba for a few weeks now. I must say the picture quality is good. I still haven't played with the plenty of adjustment you can do with this TV. Pros:Great bang for the buck compared with the edge-lit Samsung's. Lots of adjustments and inputs even turning off the annoying Toshiba that lights up. Internet connected, Thin led back lit Blu-ray movies and Hi def gaming looks great.
Summary: Bought this TV last week. Great picture, Also bought a Toshiba Bluray player, but could not get the remote set up properly. Called their hepdesk and got an excellent service!! Only thing I could not get working was Youtube and Vudu. But I think I need to spend a little more time to get that working. Overall: excellent product.
Summary: This TV has an amazing picture. Great deep blacks and vibrant colors. You must have a good clean HD signal to fully appreciate this TV. I have an RCA amplified HD antenna (rabbit ears) and the World Cup 2010 games are superb. I leave the settings on SPORTS mode and play with the brightness and color settings depending on the content. The NET TV feature is nice. It requires an internet connection through WIFI (wireless) or ethernet (wire).
Summary: This is a compact looking TV. Having it for a month now. So far, works OK. I like its wireless function, kinda cool, I can view all YouTube tailers through it. The cons is the only media channel seems very limited. Built-in is only Vudu.com, to me, it's too expensive, comparing blockbuster.com or redbox.com.
