Same issue as described by other reviews. Unit had great picture but after 24 months rainbow of colors covered left half of screen, rendering it useless. Have had decent success w/ Toshiba in past but this is last Toshiba purchase for us. Read more
Connected to a mid-priced Blu-ray player, the Toshiba 40RF350U yields an excellent image. The native 1080p capability was well worth waiting for. Read more
Overall, the price was right for a 40" 1080p, 8ms response, 60Hz refurbished LCD. Most LCDs coming out are at least 120 or 240 Hz, but you would pay at least 30 - 60% more and the deminishing return may not equal the money spent. Watching sports on it is probably the most satisfying. I hate golf, but with this tv, I enjoy watching it. Read more
I love this television. It is the only 40" HD set that was small enough to fit the cabinet in my bedroom. My cabinet is 39" w and the 40 REGZA is only 36 1/8. Besides that, the image quality is great. Excellent black levels and a true 1080p image to support my BlueRay player. Read more
