Summary: Just got this tv out of the box, plug It and there are some white circles all over the screen. Pretty annoying with dark scenes (and no, i am not talking about Batman kinda dark scenes) I live in Costa Rica so i paid over 300 bucks for the intl shipping so Sending It back for a check and back over again its not reasonable. Try to contact Toshiba in Costa Rica but the phone number they post in official webpage Doesnt work. I wrote an email to the seller 2 Days ago.
Summary: The television came quickly and was packaged well. Unfortunately the back lights were very visible with any kind of dark picture on the screen. I would have one white circle on both sides of the screen, together they filled the screen. I played with the picture settings - no improvement. I went online and looked up what other people suggested setting the picture settings at - no improvement. After a few days of frustration I phoned Amazon tech support.
Summary: I purchased this TV over 2 months ago. It did not work. Called Toshiba, they needed an exact purchase date to start a tech support ticket. I gave them this information. One month later 1st technician comes out with a new part, replaces it, and the TV still does not work, they order a 2nd part, Takes about 1 month, Tech come out replaces it, and the TV still does not work. He changes a different part still does not work.
Summary: I really wish this television had worked. It had good features and a good picture for as long as it worked. The first television intermittently cut in and out and could not even make it through the first setup screen to tell it to work in English. After returning it, I received a replacement from Amazon promptly. This second TV made it through channel setup and worked about 15-20 minutes when the picture went out and there was only sound.
