Summary: I'm thinking of getting a Roku-2 for my Toshiba so I can stream Amazon Prime from my iphone to TV. I've had it 2 to 2-1/2 yrs and like it well enough to throw my review in since seeing the numerous terrible ones. I do have to say that I experienced a little of the tv turning itself off in the first 6mo or so but kinda think it was my setup...might have even been when I was only watching DVD's and non-cable tv.
Arguably the Worst investment... Stay away from this one

Summary: I don't know where to start with this TV... When you turn on the TV the picture takes a while to show up... when It does show it, it's pretty good...until a month later when it stops working. To top it all of Toshiba has one of the worst customer service ever... I still don't see how they are still in business.
Summary: This tv arrived with multiple complications. i reported it right away in email……. We got it to work eventually. It worked for a few days as i reported in a favorable email. But soon after, It demonstrated other issues with power source turning off and on. At times black out of both audio and video was experienced. This tv has been the source of much unhappy moments in the household. I regret using Amazon as a method of purchasing this Item.
Summary: This tv has a great picture, but I wouldn't buy a Toshiba product again. After 18 months, it started turning itself off by itself, then would come back on again after a minute or two. It got worse and worse, staying off longer and longer. Toshiba offered no help since the warranty had expired, even though this is obviously an issue with their tv. Don't buy Toshiba!
Summary: I had purchased my Toshiba at Best buy back in Feb '12 and absolutely love it. Toshiba is a respected brand name and I've owned various Toshiba products in the past. They were on sale at the time and my Best buy store was sold out. Mine was fresh from the box and put out on the display floor the same day I bought it.I have had no problems with it although I did purchase the extended warranty just in case.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS TELEVISION!!!!!!! My husband purchased this t.v. in December of 2011. It worked fine - nothing exceptional, not a great picture, not great sound. Then, suddenly, about one month ago, it wouldn't turn on! After reading all sorts of forums and trying a variety of things, it still wouldn't turn on. One day, after not even trying to turn it on for a week, I decided to hold down the "on" button for an extended time and it worked! Magic!
Summary: I should have read the reviews before I bought this from Tiger Direct. After only a month the TV fails to turn on. There are known issues with the electronics of it and Toshiba tech support is a voice mail maze designed to make the customer give up rather than to help fix the problem. Replacement parts are difficult for the 3rd party repair people to get. Do not buy this model of TV or for that matter, anything with the Toshiba brand.

Summary: JUNK, JUNK, JUNK! LIKE THE MAJORITY OF THE REVIEWS YOU WILL FIND ON THIS PRODUCT! T.V. PICTURE WENT OUT WITHIN TWO MONTHS OF PURCHASE DUE TO KNOWN DEFECT OF THE MAIN BOARD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRID! WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT AGAIN, EVER!
Summary: Since the day I bought this TV from Best Buy it has been shutting itself off for no reason. The TV then has to be unplugged from the wall outlet for a while before it can be turned back on. TV stays on for about five minutes before shutting itself off again. The TV has a great looking picture (for about 5 minutes) but other than that it is a piece of junk. Don't walk away, RUN away from this TV!!
