Summary: When I bought this TV I was expecting same HD quality as other Toshiba TV that I bought. While it was indeed high definition, the picture quality was very sub-par, almost to the point that my eyes get sore after watching the screen for a while. The problem with this TV is that it is very dim.
Summary: No matter what I try, I can't brighten up the picture sufficiently or get the color balance right. The sound is also thin and tinny. We only paid $200 for it, but it's debatable whether it's worth that. P.S.
Summary: I read some reviews before buying this one, and even though I knew it wouldn't be the best tv, it really dissapointed me. The Remote Control is trash, the tv response is slow when turning it on, changing inputs, etc.
Summary: I have had this TV for several months and now feel I can write an honest review. In all I am pleased with the TV, for the price. This is no LED, it is larger, heavy and with only 60hz it is not amazing quality. But it is a good looking picture for things such as hockey, movies and video games.
Summary: Purchased another lower end 40 inch Toshiba three years ago and it was excellent, so I recently bought this one for my daughter. In order to keep the price very low, Toshiba has apparently reduced the quality.
