Summary: Agonised over this purchase but now it's sitting in the corner it looks fantastic! The wife wouldn't have it on the wall. Freeview picture is very good even with my old arial in the loft. The picture quality with HD is truly stunning and DVDs look great too.
Pros: Stylish and modern design. Stunning HD picture quality. Freeview and DVDs also excellent.
Cons: Average sound quality. Cheap feeling remote control.
Excerpt: I bought this TV in 2006 for about £700. Of course, TV's have come down in price a lot since then, but this one is still going strong, and has a far better HD picture than my more recent Sony 32". The remote is easy to use, the TV design minimalist and unpretentious.
Excerpt: I have had this set for several years - it was original the main TV in living room but has now been relegated to the bedroom. When I originally got it the picture quality seemed very good - images were crisp and vivid. However I have since got a newer 1080p Sony and the difference is night and day.
Excerpt: I have owned this LCD TV for a few years now and I can say it is excellent. It is getting a bit long in the tooth compared to the Regza range that Toshiba now have out, but it is still an excellent buy if you are looking for a quality TV.
Excerpt: I've owned this TV for just over a year now and to be honest I bought it on the back of very good reviews. I have the TV linked up to my XBox 360/DVD player/360 HD Drive and Sky digital in my 'games room', while a very solid performer I did find it slighty underwelming.
Excerpt: Well, we've had this Toshiba in our living room for a year or so now, and while it's got a pretty good picture and sound (and looks pretty superb when it's off), there are some MAJOR niggles that are now starting to annoy me. The remote is the main issue.
Pros: Fine picture, OK sound, nice looks, slim - ish, relatively cheap, fair few inputs
Cons: Horrific Freeview tuner and EPG, HORRIBLY unresponsive remote, worse than useless PC input
Excerpt: A very nice average sized LCD display that caters for all your needs it has a very nice crisp and clear picture (HD READY) and boasts a wide variety of inputs with 2 HDMI inputs this surely is a must have for a reasonably priced display.
Excerpt: I purchased this TV a year ago for £750 which I thought was a bargain but it breaks my heart to see how much it's going for now i.e £500 odd. Nevertheless its still a cracking looking TV which is being used with an XBox 360.
Excerpt: Had this TV for a while now and feel i can give an accurate review. I use this in conjunction with SKY high def. and the picture is great, on high def broadcasts such as "the blue planet" you will be stunned at just how good your picture will be.
Pros: This TV looks great and the performance just about matches
