"Pretty good gaming monitor and good with Blu-ray."
29 February 2012
Pros: Picture quality is decent, high-def comes in clear. Games play with little lag on PS3. Although I a waiting until nVidia releases Kepler graphics cards to check native 3D PC gaming, so stay tuned.
Cons: 2D - 3D conversion doesn't pack as much punch, backlight dims and brightens at an annoying rate between inputs and motion in PC monitor mode, and with the PS3.
Summary: Pros: The picture has wonderful clarity. The screen with 1080p and 240Hz has a crisp appearance that is rarely seen outside of the stores that set up HDTVs in ideal conditions. Our other TV is a Samsung, six months old with a smaller screen. This one is much clearer than the Samsung. At the clearest setting, the entire picture that is broadcast appears on screen. Nothing is cut off but the entire screen is not used.
Summary: This is a great tv with many features. If you are not tech savvy it might take some time to get familiar with the features. Picture quality is excellent. I would not recommend auto dim mode. Wireless setup is very easy, I could enjoy Netflix in a minute with great picture quality, offcourse it also depends on your internet connection. I am sure there are many reviews on the pros for this TV.
Summary: i bought this Toshiba 32TL515U here on Amazon.com Warehouse Deals for $428, it arrived in 2 days with Amazon Prime and it assembled in less than 5 minutes. The picture quality is very good, especially when the input source is 1080p or 1080i...the 720p is okay and the 480 is awful! I have filled all four of the HDMI inputs with XBox 360, Insignia Blu-Ray, Apple TV and TiVo Premiere XL. My Tv source is cable NTSC but not HD...might be changing that soon.
Summary: This set has a beautiful picture and I would purchase again at the low price. It does take an annoyingly long to turn on and sync up with my Charter cable DVR box. The web aps are limited. I'm much happier with my Sony DVD player's web aps and Sony's frequent software pushes to the DVD player to add more.
