Summary: I bought this television with a thanks giving deal. Even though the reviews were not great. Pro 1. Wifi Enabled 2. Network Ready 3. Good Picture quality Cons 1. Apps are limited and cannot add / remove apps. 2. The remote works weirdly. Sometimes you will not be able to use the remote to work. it freezes 3. Had to change the printed circuit board of the TV twice. good thing was (it was under warranty). 4. The customer service is pathetic. 5.
Summary: This TV is worse than pirated chinese garbage. The remote *will* stop working within about 1 year, and it isn't the remote that's broken, it's the electronic on the TV itself. Just do a search, there are thousands of such complaints, and Toshiba will do nothing for you if it's out of warranty. But even when it is working, the sound is aweful, and the internet apps are pretty much worthless other than netflix.
Summary: I've had this TV for just over a year and I'm very happy with it. The picture is great and it handles SD channels well. The sound is about average (but what do you expect with something so thin). The startup time is a tad slow but I haven't had any trouble with the remote or power supply as other reviewers have. I highly recommend.
Summary: This model, the xxSL410u has superior detection sensitivity and excellent signal processing in the presence of a noisy over-the-air signal. This model is better than the newer Toshiba 40l2200u model which I bought and returned last year.
Summary: I have this 32" LED Toshiba smart tv. It randomly powers off and on, becomes unresponsive, etc. when it is connected to the WiFi. I have tried it on several wireless routers and modems, as well as with nothing else on the network. I have also tried it in multiple other homes. Toshiba has sent techs to my home 4 times. 4 times I have been asked to take time off work to meet a tech.
Summary: This is the last time I buy Toshiba! Their laptops overheat and their TVs like this one, volume is broken after 1 year and a 1/2? Ridiculous! I call tech support and they want to charge 35 dollars to diagnose the problem??? They make a defective product, and before they can determine the issue, they want to charge you! It's defective and they want the customer to pay? Go figure.
