Summary: Purchased this TV from hhgregg in Columbus, Ohio. Good picture, good sound, but TV went dark after 13 months. Warranty was 12 months. Called Toshiba support. Gave serial# and they said my TV was made in Canada and that I'd have to call a different toll free number for Canadian support division. Also said that the TV would have to be shipped to Canada to be serviced, not US.
Summary: The price is great, has two HDMI ports and the picture quality is great. Upgrading a family members CRT on the cheap, couldn't ask for anything else really. Added a Chromecast to this bad boy and it's a smart TV at a fraction of the price.
Summary: For the price, a nice TV. Perfectly functional and easy to adjust color settings. It has audio outputs so you can hook it up to the stereo for better sound. The remote is easy to use (not backlit unfortunately), with the "input" button right on top, so you can switch back and forth between TV, Roku, DVD, etc. My only complaint is that you have to reset the picture size every time you change input type.
Summary: I have been a Toshiba customer for about twenty some years, now. I have never had a Toshiba TV that I didn't just love, really. They have always outlasted my residencies and the picture and functionality is great. I like how the mute button cuts the volume in half, and then on the second push, all the way. The only draw back this model could have, is that it only has 2 HDMI ports. Mom's VISIO has like, 5.
Summary: Picture is clear, it hooked up quickly & easily to my AppleTV . I erred in assuming it had a built in HDTuner since most teevees do these days, and have not found a decent antenna to pull in the signal yet, but I have AppleTV and so Netflix Hulu Plus and Aereo can all be broadcast via it. It is a decent tv for a decent price.
