Summary: Bought this about a year ago. A nice thing about this TV is bulit-in HD digital antenna. It was hooked up with Charter cable without HD settop. The broadcasting channels are showing clear crisp images of HD quality. The problem is the TV goes black with some noise by itself, then later power came back on. I do not keep track of how often it happens but the frequency seems to be increasing.
Summary: I purchased this item months ahead of time as a Mother's Day Gift for my mother. Unfortunately, we didn't hook it up until Mother's Day and it's too late to return it. The picture is dull and faded. No matter how you change the settings, you can't get the picture to appear sharp or bright. Horrible TV. Also, the sound goes out approx. once every hour for a few seconds. It's not the cable company, we checked. It's the TV.
Toshiba LCD TV 32C120U - less than a year old and already dead

Summary: I did not get this TV from Amazon, but from Best Buy, and I just want to put my review up for people thinking about purchasing one. I bought this less than a year ago and was happy with it until a couple of weeks ago. I got home from work, turned it on, and there was sound but no picture - the screen was black. After about 5 minutes, the picture finally came on, so I went through the manual and reset everything, to try to keep it from happening again.
Summary: Got my Toshiba television. Took it out of the box and it looked great. Nice style and design. Plugged it in and powered it on. I see the Toshiba logo as its powering on, then I see a black screen. Took a little closer look and I could see the shadow of the menu box. Tinkered with it for a while and finally got fed up. Called Toshiba. Great customer service. Pretty much told me this happens often and its a hardware problem with the screen.
Summary: I purchased this TV even after looking at the other reviews. Our son has a Toshiba Laptop that he has had for 5 years and no problems, so I decided to give the Toshiba TV a try. What a mistake! The TV looked nice but once it was set-up and turned on the problem started. I could never get the picture to ever become bright enough on all of my television channels. What a disappointment!
Summary: I purchased this TV for Christmas of 2010. this summer it simply would not come on. no storms in the area. no power surges. took the back off and replaced the fuse that was blown. plugged it in fuse blew immediately. $379 for a tv that lasted a year. Never will I buy a Toshiba again. I googled it and this is not an uncommon problem.
Summary: This was one of the few TV's in its price range that had VGA/PC audio input jacks, and i used it accordingly for a bedroom setup with a media center PC. Worked great for about an hour, but then the top 40% of the screen started bleeding white colors upwards into the bezel, and the very bottom had a bright blue line going across the screen.
