Summary: I have always found that Toshiba make great quality products, and this TV is certainly another great product. The picture quality is superb, pin sharp as you'd expect it to be when hooked up to other HD devices. The TV has a reasonable amount of different connections on the back, though could have done with another one or two hdmi sockets for my liking. The audio is reasonable, it wont rock your world, but its decent enoth and does the job.
Summary: The picture is great except for one small thing. There is a purplish halo at the top and bottom of the screen. Most of the time though it is not noticeable. It only really becomes noticeable on widescreen content that has black bars on the top and bottom. Overall though, it really isn't an issue. Also, I bought a popular Blu-Ray Calibration disc that has a blue filter and used it for this TV and here are the settings....
Summary: We've had this TV for a little over two years and it is now unusable because white lines appear and the picture washes out every few seconds. Prior to that, I've had issues where the sound goes out, were it loses it's memory of channels we've programmed out, and where it won't turn off. I will not be buying Toshiba TVs any more.
Summary: We are very satisfied with this TV. Once you set the levels for bass and treble in the audio set-up the audio sounds very good. The resolution is not the highest you can get with HD, but it is very good and the picture is impressive for the size of the TV. I would buy this TV again. Great HD television for the money.
Summary: i purchase this product because of it's energy saving qualities... what we need to realize is that we will continue to pay for a produce if it's energy cost is high.. your eletric bill is a continuation of the cost you paid for a product.. always remember that... this unic only used 67 watts of power in full use... sweet.
