Summary: Look at all those audio outputs on the back though. I have a PC + Line-in and HDMI carrying audio from gaming consoles and a little $3 adapter plugged in to the red/white audio out for 2+1 speakers via the headphone-style jack.
Summary: I picked this up on clearance for $100 and it has met my expectations. It's main purpose was as a monitor and it needs no adjustments for that... at least not with my notebook that is equipped with HDMI output. Plugged it in, set it to PC mode... viola!
Summary: Crystal clear picture on HD channels. Sometimes have to adjust the picture size because the recording was a different format. Hooked up external speakers so don't really care about the cheezy built ins.
Summary: This television has a beautiful picture. The sound, although nothing great, is certainly tolerable. However, if you really want to enjoy this television you should take advantage of the audio out left and right plugs.
Summary: Text was not easy to read, as if the contrast were too high resulting in ghosting around the letters. But I couldn't adjust the picture settings in any way that would make text look better, like it does on a dedicated monitor. As a tv, I thought the picture and sound were fine.
