Summary: Pros 1) Image was really clear and it felt awesome playing PS3 on it. 2) Easy to set up, did not take me 10mns to set it up i the room. 3) Has enough inputs for a college student (2 HDMI, 1 VGA, 1 USB, 1 RCA): I was able to use my laptop, PS3 and my roommate's Wii on it.
Summary: when I have the TV on any channel cable or local with a crawl on the bottom of the screen the lettering starts from the right regular size for a crawl it moves to the middle gets smaller as it gets to the left the lettering gets larger. Also program being watched seems to have a slight oval shape.
Summary: TV works .......OK for a bedroom TV. Response to change channels is slow. The included remote apparently has a fault or simply the wrong code programmed for 'Power ON'. I had to program my Logitech to turn it on and take it in the other room every time i want to turn it on.
Summary: The instructions do not adequately describe operation and setup, which could be a problem for anyone unfamiliar with HDTVs. Toshiba previously included a very good 139 page printed manual, but it's no longer available from them, not even at their website as a PDF, although it can still be downloaded...
Summary: The TV works fine but it has 2 minor issues. First, passing analog channels take too long. Second, digital channels work fine but from time to time the TV goes blamk and resets when watching these channels.
Summary: We got this TV to replace an old Sharp 20"LCD (4:3) in the kitchen. Watching shows in letterbox on the old TV was getting annoying. You can't read the ticker on the bottom of the ESPN channels and if you watch the SD channel, it's letterboxed. FiOS doesn't do pan-scan on all of the SD channels.
Summary: Bought this TV as a gift a few weeks back. I hesitated since the reviews varied so much but after checking it out in a store locally I knew it would be perfect for her room. My Aunt was thrilled - it was her first HD TV. I was not so happy however.
