Summary: The sound quality (after the adjustment) is super and the picture quality is great. I wanted a small tv for my kids playroom that could play DVDs and have adequate hookup for a WII and Roku. This tv did the trick. Very satisfied.
Summary: pretty darn good so far I have a good history with Toshiba (their computers are outstanding) which is one selling point, the picture is clear the sound is good most channels are strong and the dvd player works well the big selling point for me I don't want any more stand alone dvd players.
Summary: This tv is very nice and easy to use. The only improvement it could use is to have a louder volume. We use this tv in our 5th wheel travel trailer and the sound is just not quite loud enough. The dvd is a great added feature in a small compact and easy to move unit.
Summary: This is a great little TV/DVD combo. Only problem was the lack of info for how to get the sound issue worked out. The problem seems to be the "Night Mode" setting. To get to this you need to be playing a DVD, press the stop button, then menu.
Summary: The Toshiba 19LV61K is certainly a great looking t.v. as far as the looks are concerned. But is that why we watch the t.v.!? It's what comes out of "The Box" that really makes the difference. I purchased this television brand new at my local Cosco store here today and hooked it up.
Summary: As mentioned in other reviews the sound volume is very poor. The first one would not receive one of the channels. The second one had intermittent problems with audio on one channel (different than above). In both of the above an older television was used to verify the problems.
Summary: I usually read reviews of everything I buy, however, having already owned 3 Toshiba LCD TV's, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Picture is good, DVD works good, but sound at full blast is barely audible 5 feet away - Terrible!
Cute model, but low sound...ought to be mentioned upfront. Would not buy that model again.

Summary: I have a Toshiba 19LV61K LCD tv/dvd. The volume is not mentioned at purchase, but should be. The speakers are 1.5 watts. Listening to the tv from 2 or 3 feet requires setting the volume to the highest maximum and the sound is still low--all my guests have complained.
