Summary: Can't say enough good things about this tv! it has a beautiful resolution...totally clear! i do warranty work for many brands of TVs and this one is very high quality!! You will not be disappointed!!
Summary: It's not a $2000 unit, but you knew that. That said, it's extremely impressive for the price. Honestly, if you put a Samsung logo on it I bet more than half of Samsung buyers wouldn't know the difference. Screen is very bright (glare is still a bit of an issue for me, but it faces a very huge sunny window so I think it'd be an issue with most TVs), the stand is very sleek and expensive looking (black glass, not a cheap piece of plastic).
Summary: This is no Samsung. And not 120Hz, as advertised. Someone should really do something about the claims that are made on these televisions and start a class action lawsuit. It seems almost all the manufacturers are making up facts about their televisions to suit their marketing strategy, rather than actually implementing solid technology to deliver a benefit to consumers. If you're looking for a true 120Hz screen, look elsewhere.
Summary: This television has met my every expectations. The picture is 1080p quality and sound is excellent. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone who is interested in a high quality presentation at a price that cannot be beat.
50" TCL 1080p 120Hz -- IS ONLY 60Hz, an amazing 60Hz for the price though.

Summary: I had to give this Television 3 stars due to the MARKETING FRAUD. Yes, fraud... This television is Marketed, packaged, labeled, and specified as a 120Hz refresh 1080p 50" Screen. This Screen is 50", provides CRISP & BEAUTIFUL 1080i and 1080p images depending on the device you are connecting it to via HDMI Cables. This truly is an enormous TV, sleek and beautiful. The IMAGE is the best 1080p I have ever seen in ***60Hz*** Refresh Rate.
Summary: I snagged mine for $500. First one: dead pixel. Amazon return policy? Awesome and quick. No questions asked. Second one: works fine. You see some choppiness with sports (you shouldn't given the alleged specs) but not annoyingly so. Color and detail is pretty good. Truth is this is a nice, big tv that is serving well as our main tv. Picture looks decent, very light and thin for size.
Summary: Little history is that my last TV (a 47 inch Sharp) was stolen while I was away on vacation and I was looking for a new TV. I had never heard of TCL before so I did a little (not a lot) of research and discovered they were making parts for Samsung TV's before striking out on their own. That gave me some comfort.
