50" TCL 1080p 120Hz -- IS ONLY 60Hz, an amazing 60Hz for the price though.

Summary: I had to give this Television 3 stars due to the MARKETING FRAUD. Yes, fraud... This television is Marketed, packaged, labeled, and specified as a 120Hz refresh 1080p 50" Screen. This Screen is 50", provides CRISP & BEAUTIFUL 1080i and 1080p images depending on the device you are connecting it to via HDMI Cables. This truly is an enormous TV, sleek and beautiful. The IMAGE is the best 1080p I have ever seen in ***60Hz*** Refresh Rate.
Good TV for the money if you don't need "Smart" features and who really does anyway?

Summary: It's good, you have to adjust the picture. I have the 50 inch and these are my current settings. I also downloaded the latest firmware update which was easy to download and install. I actually bought these on clearance at Sams, it was a customer return but it looked new and I don't see any dead pixels or problems. Right out of the box, the picture was over saturated and it's possible the person returned it for that reason or any reason, who knows.
Summary: great TV for the price! i can't complain. i have had this tv for about 3 months looks just as good as my samsung. the light around the corners is just a bit brighter than the rest of the tv, but i can tell unless the screen is black, or very dark.
Summary: the tv has a serious delay when coming on, remarkable ten to twelve seconds before the picture starts up, almost like an old transsister tv. I called but they blamed it on the cable company, I have two toshiba tvs in the same house that do nto have the same issue.
Summary: The refresh rate is 60hz on the TV but everywhere on the package it says 120hz. Can an TCL people help me out with this one? I really don't want to have to go through the hassle of returning the TV.
Summary: I snagged mine for $500. First one: dead pixel. Amazon return policy? Awesome and quick. No questions asked. Second one: works fine. You see some choppiness with sports (you shouldn't given the alleged specs) but not annoyingly so. Color and detail is pretty good. Truth is this is a nice, big tv that is serving well as our main tv. Picture looks decent, very light and thin for size.
