Fantastic Value, Good Picture Quality, Easy Installation
12 January 2013
Summary: I picked this up for less than a Benjamin, a 40" HD TV capable of 1080p. TCL is actually one of the largest television manufacturers in the world, and I've heard that the screen on this particular model was made by Samsung. The TV itself is fairly light and easy to install. There are 3 HDMI inputs, two in the back and one on the left side. The regular composite (red, yellow, and white) and S-video are all there too, along with one component connection in the back.
Summary: I dont understand the negative reviews with this TV. I bought one from Beachcamera at a fantastic price. It arrived in 3 days. Easy to set up. It has a perfect picture that rivals my $2000 LG in the living room. All pixels light up. HD picture is crisp and well defined. Color was perfect and required no adjustment. Has plenty of inputs, 3 HDMI, 2 Component, 1 S-Video, 2 Composite.
Summary: Wish I could give a review but the day we hooked it up, we discovered a line going down the center of the screen. After several attempts at both e-mail and numerous phone calls we finally go hold of someone who told us to pack it back up and either they would fix it or send us a new TV. As of today(July 7th)mind you it was purchased in April or May (I don't remember at this point) we still do not have a TV-old or new.
Summary: great tv for the price, it was a surprise gift for my daughter and she is very happy with this tv. It fits in her room perfectly and gives her a chance to watch whatever she wants without being forced to watch guy stuff with the boys.
Summary: I bought this from VANN's as a recertified model that supposedly was sent back for a sotware upgrade, but a Walmart return receipt was enclosed from the previous buyer. The unit was sent back as "defective.
