Summary: This tv has the absolute best color of any tv ever made. It's only weakness is black levels in a dark room. The replacement 900B is the better option for Anyone who watches a lot of movies in the dark. Other than total black levels this picture destroys the 900B and every current Samsung (excluding the 2015 models). Oleds are better but at $10k with potential of burnin, I recommend waiting a few years.
Excerpt: Another amazing TV from Sony. The built in speakers are very good and, while they don't exactly rival my old home theater setup, the sleek appearance makes up for it in every way. Don't delay in adjusting he settings, especially sound. Great experience in every way.
Pros: All the connections options I could ever need, Easy To Set Up
Summary: Beautiful TV, excellent picture quality... but Sonyreally dropped the ball with the 4k technology. I specifically looked for 4K compatibility when purchasing a new TV (and receiver) in order to be ready for the next wave of media... as it turns out, this TV doesn’t support (Netflix) streaming in 4K. I now basically own an overpriced TV that won’t play ANY future 4k content... I feel cheated.
Pros: All the connections options I could ever need, Best looking TV out there, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Remote Control, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality, LED-backlit, Outstanding
Buyer Beware!!! Will not play 4k content. Its Obsolete

Summary: I purchased this TV thinking I got a deal. Dont get me wrong, it has a great picture when watching TV at 1080i and Blueray at 1080p,but if you really want 4K, this TV wont do it. Sony negated to mention you would need to purchase a $700 Sony 4K content server to get 4K video and with this you can buy Upscaled 4K content. With Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and YouTube now all streaming 4K, you can't get that on this TV. With the $700 add on you can get Netflix now i was told.
