Summary: it's a nice tv. it's small which is what i wanted, i bought it used and it still has a very nice picture to it. the price was also very agreeable. all in all i consider it to be a very good purchase.
Summary: 7 years ago we treated ourselves to our first (and last) Sony TV. For these 7 years it has been a great tv. Then it would come on and immediately go off. The website indicated that the flashing light on the front may require service but there was some sequences to try to maybe correct the problem. When this did not work I "Chatted" with a technician who finally concluded that the tv required hands on service.
Summary: I know this is naive in today's disposable mkt, but I really expected this tv to last longer than not-quite six years. Have to say that it was good while it lasted, but in order to reach the back my husband had to build a wooden sled to slide it out of place for access. The weight is unbelievably high. The red color became faded after five years, but I trudged on, seeing orange for several more months, but now the picture is gone.
Summary: The TV was a great price... However I did travel 2 1/2 hours to get it since it was local pick up only. I'm so impressed with the picture and sound quality. It was clean and well kept. Anyone who can find this kind of tv in this kind of shape can consider themselves lucky. I also like the fact that it has the option to see a different channel in the corner. (I never had that option with a tv before.) The screen is very clear... although it isn't HD it looks like it!
Summary: Bought this when I moved into my apartment in late '05, moving out now and need to sell it because it's a pain to relocate cuz of the weight. Sad to see it go though, the picture and sound is awesome and it's quality is just as good as when I bought it.
Summary: I have a really good 40" CRT TV. When the time comes for me to buy a new TV, all that will be available is these flat screen TV's and I will have to buy a whole new piece of furniture to put it in, since I don't want my TV up on the wall, and these new TV's are too wide to fit into standard-sized entertainment centers or armoires. I really don't like these flat screen TV's and I don't care for the designs of the furniture now being manufactured to house them.
Summary: I bought this TV to replace a JVC 37 inch model that lasted 15 years. The ONLY negative I can say is that the width is taken up by the speakers, so if you have a limited space, this will fall on the short side of filling the hole...nothing a wooden valance (vertical blind variety or ???) can't take care of!
Summary: This line of sets has a serious problem--the power board fails after a relatively short period. Mine blew at just under 3 years. If you do not believe me please google "KV32HS blinking light" and see the dozens of failures of these TVs. Unless you can fix TVs, stay away from SONY crt sets.
Summary: I love the TV I purchased. I bought it for my 3rd bedroom. The people I bought it from were very nice and even helped me load it into my car. I would definately buy from them again. A++++ e-bayers.
