Summary: So lets start Technologically: Very nice displays, really amazing picture. 720p is the only headset with such resolution. The 3D is the best. The sound...not bad, but this is not the center of it. The picture...well it is big and the way to imagine it is the same as sitting in a cinema at the center. When you put it on, you see a big screen and the screen seem a little far away, like the displays are not 1 inch from the eye, but 5-6 inches.
Summary: Same issues that most reviewers, blurry sides, can't read any info on the sides, i.e.PS3 trophies, I can see the pixels in all movies, 3D quality way inferior to my SAMSUNG 55" plasma 3D, extremely uncomfortable on your head... So they need to improve it a lot, not worth for me, but I respect and honor the reviewers who love the unit, if it works for them, great!!
Summary: I believe, Sony has set the bar in the visual quality of there product, 2d and 3d lived up to the hype, the sound doesn't disappoint. As for the rest, it could have been designed better to balance it's weight problem. When you first get it lined up it's great, after awhile it begins to slip which causes everything to slip out focus. To much of the weight is then put on the users nose which after an hr. your like ouch!
Summary: The image quality is very good, sharp and vivid. However, the plastic parts is not good but acceptalbe. The only "problem" with this product is adjusting to fit, it's quite hard to make it right.
Summary: I've been eyeing on this gadget for the past few months.thinking whether it's the same with MYVU Personal Viewer.I am partly right!..I am a gadget freak and audiophile. so i finally decided to buy and try this product and if things didn't turn out well i will return it to amazon. unfortunately I am repacking the item now and would return this over the weekends.WHY???!!! here's why. 1.
Summary: I was considering this for a flight. Been playing with it for a few minutes at a Sony store. It requires AC power and the base unit is quite heavy. Might work if you're in business class with AC power converter, which I am not gonna be. The 3D demo seemed all right at the store. Might work for your computer or PS games at home, not for me. It made an impression of a solid gadget though. Anything HDMI, it will play it. Will wait for a more portable version.
Summary: This was a fun toy to try out, but I ended up returning it. To test it, I: -Watched How to Train Your Dragon in 3D -Played Crysis 2 in 3D -Did some work in Excel -Did some web browsing Background. I make my living working on computers and associated technology. I normally use a 3 screen setup: 1 16:9 23" screen and 2 16:10 22" screens. I'm used to watching TV on a 37" 1080p screen. And I have a very bad astigmatism. The image quality of this visor is very high.
Summary: I really wanted to love this product. I waited months to order it, and I gave it a good try. But unforunately, I had to return it. The problem is it's too front-heavy, and I always had to keep it propped up in front, with my finger. To compensate for it sliding down toward my nose, I would tighten the band going around to the back of my head, but that made it very tight across my forehead, and I would wind up with a red mark on the middle of my forehead, where the pad...
