Summary: I have owned the 26" Bravia for about a year and the only con is the price. I paid $1000 for it. The picture is high quality and the features are great. I'm only disappointed that had I looked around a little more I could have got a bigger TV for less, though I probably would have sacrificed some quality.
Summary: I bought this system last week before they started calling it "Bravia". I have standard (not HD) cable. The picture is absolutely gorgeous right of the box! I have not felt any urge at all to try to tweak the color balance. It does come with three "picture mode" options (vivid, standard, pro) which I did change from the default setting.
Excerpt: I was a bit apprehensive before I purchased this television, as I was unsure what to expect, having heard little on this particular model before. However, I was very surprised and pleased by its performance...... The reception really is excellent, and the channels have excellent quality. With my tv before, I often had the problem with it losing the reception for a few channels, but this has not once happened with this televison.

It may make your brain ache after, but you will defiantly be more confident when purchasing!! I bought this TV around 12 months ago, and whilst it is not the most recent of buys, it is still one of the best TV’s in its range on the market today. It is full with technology (most of which you would never know was there!
Pros: Superior Picture Performance, Sexy exterior, Component Input, NTSC playback

Excerpt: This SONY 26' LCD WEGA HDTV is the wave of the future. It has everything that you need in an LCD TV. Sony does in fact make the very best looking products and QUALITY to. I have over 35 different types of Sony products and they keep working no matter if you drop them or how hard you use them. Well this TV takes the cake. I just bought it yesterday and it is well worth the high price tag. I also bought the 23 inch that Sony makes and that is also very good.
Excerpt: I have most recently purchased a Sony KLV26HG2 26" LCD TV from my local Sony shop. At first spending the best part of £2000 pounds caused a little flicker in my heart. But what an investment. The TV sits perfectly on any mantle piece and impresses anyone that comes around. Because it is LCD the dimensions are mind blowing, it is less than 25 cm deep. The TV itself is suited on a stand which complements the TV in every way; the sleek design and the quality.
Pros: Looks fantastic, Sounds Fantastic Is fantastic
