Summary: I would not consider myself an "expert" on TVs, but let me put it clearly: the picture quality is excellent! With that being said, the sound quality is a major let down. I am not sure if it is a problem with the settings, but I find the different levels in sound to be annoying. If I have the TV on Video 7 to watch Cable and I switch it to Video 6 to watch a Blu-Ray, I need to double the volume in order to hear anything.
Summary: Awesome TV. I am using the TV for the living room and replaced a 2 year old 46" Sony Bravia and damn it looks good. Like watching a Blue ray movie on TV. Their is only 1 av cable connection but its all i needed for my cable box. I dont know what makes this TV better than the last one but im very happy with my black friday gift from my mom with the price of $1300.
Summary: I had a 60 inch Sony WEGA DLP that is now RIP. It had a problem the screen that Sony fixed while under warranty twice no problem. With the TV out of Warranty and it weighing like 300 lbs I was not anxious to move a damaged TV to my new place. Found this model on Amazon for about $1400 shipped and I am very happy - one thing you must get external speaker - these speakers are too thin for any bass at all.
Summary: A really great tv if your ever wanna go 55inches or above. No problems at all. Only thing I had, is the jutter issues between changing channels, and two pictures will get stuck.. sometimes. Only thing I do to solve that is switch off tv and then turn it back on, and picture is back to normal. Good sound, good picture overall. Very heavy item, to lift up though, when u set it up..
Summary: I bought this about 2 months ago. It looks great while watching blu-rays. But while watching tv, I get certain flickering in some trees, blonde hair, and some whites. I have Comcast cable. Anyone else have this problem?? Any help would be appreciated.
Summary: This is a fantastic TV. I am thoroughly happy with it, but admit that when I first fired it up, I thought that the picture quality was terrible when compared to my other 46" Sony LCD TV. That said, once the TV had been used for about 20 hours, it seemed to settle in nicely and I can honestly say that the picture quality met or exceeded my expectations entirely. I am not using the speakers on the TV, so I cannot speak to audio quality.
Summary: I purchased the Sony Bravia 55" TV and I couldn't be happier. The size was just what I needed for my living room. The picture is sharp and crisp for high def movies and shows. I'd purchase it again in an instant.
Summary: I ordered this product on 3/9. My "Delivery estimate: March 15, 2010 - March 18, 2010". On 3/13 I had not heard anything & the item was still marked as not shipped so I contacted the seller. They did not respond to my email. On 3/16 I tried again as they now had 2 days left to deliver in the window & it was still marked as not shipped. I finally got a response email stating it was on back order.
Summary: I am glad i bought 55 inch instead of 52 inch newer models. In my case Size made the difference. Picture is so real when hooked to Directv reciever as well as my favorate bluray player. Stunning pictue clarity.
