Summary: From the Amazon product description, this TV is hailed as an LED HD TV. It is not. When you open the box, and take out the Operating Instructions Manual, the first thing you see on the front cover is "Sony LCD TV". This is an LCD TV. Don't let the product description lead you to think otherwise...the description states "LED HD TV" at least a half a dozen time...always in ALL CAPS. It really grabs your attention.
Summary: I loved this TV at first... then I started to notice a line of darker pixels going from the top to bottom frames. This appears to get worse every day, although not noticeable all the time. The TV is gently used, in a one person household. SONY is no help... unless I pay them to "replace" my TV for a refurbished one for a measly $195.00. My SONY rep Jerry, has made this "SONY experience" even worse by being a complete moron who's rude and maddening.
Summary: The Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX340 I received displayed a white stripe down the right side of the screen. I've had good experiences with a variety of Sony equipment over the years, including a larger television. Not the case this time. I returned the KDL32EX340, and have chosen a similar product from another manufacturer.
Summary: If you are specifically buying this television because it is described as having 2 Scart sockets then DONT! There is only 1 Scart socket It also doesn't have a headphone socket if you happen to be hard of hearing and use a TV Listener or you want to use it as a bedroom TV and listen to it via headphones.
