Summary: Amazing picture although there are things that could be improved. I receive digital antenna signals only and as such this TV does not provide future programming nor state the time-frame for what you are watching. I know this is possible as my previous cheapo, $40 - government funded, converter even did this. Even to this day this TV needs to scan the air before you are able to enter a channel.
Summary: I bought this TV for my PS/4 gaming in my man cave, since it supposedly has the lowest input lag of all TVs in its size (although it sacrifices picture quality and 3D features vis-a-vis the Samsung 7150). The first day I used it, it had horrible clouding and flashlighting, such that I considered returning it. By the 2nd day, though, most of the clouding disappeared, leaving only flashlighting in the top right corner when viewed off-angle with the backlight spiked.
Summary: This product had 99 reviews, so I thought I'd make it an even hundred. I've had this TV for about a month now and I really like it. I have really visceral reactions to two things about LCD TV's: Light leaks, the Soap Opera Effect, and the KDL55W800B does well to avoid both of these annoyances. All LCD TV's suffer from some amount of clouding and light leaks.

Summary: This Smart TV has a amazingly good picture and I would have given it five stars, but a few things prevented that. The picture even in a non-3D or 2D mode has a depth of field I've never seen in a TV before. Objects in the foreground stand out very distinctly from the background. The picture is also the brightest and sharpest I've ever seen. So the picture gets 5 stars from me. As for the things I was not happy with: 1.
Incredible High Def TV, but some things to note.....

Summary: I start all of my reviews with a confirmation of the specific model of the product I am reviewing. I get really frustrated when I see reviews here on Amazon lumped together for multiple models and even multiple products. The TV I am reviewing here is the Sony KDL55W700B, purchased from Best Buy. It specs the same as the KDL55W800B sold here on Amazon but lacks the 3D feature.
Summary: Great picture, really nice tv. The only problem that I have found so far is the headphone jack. Must manually remove it when you are done using the headphones each time. Even though there is an option in the menu for the headphones, it is there but does not appear to function. Other than that great tv.
Summary: Bought this TV to replace our Sony 720p 40" that was about 8 years old. We loved that one, so we decided to stick with Sony this time around, as well. Www.displaylag.com rated this TV with the lowest input lag, so I snatched it up! I play shooters on the Xbox 360 and One. This TV rivals my BenQ pro gaming monitor. I love it. Very snappy display. Only downside is the glossy finish, so I have to police my living room lights in certain scenarios.
Summary: After having it for a week or so here’s what “stands out” and what I’m liking. Black Levels. This is a rather large improvement over the other panels I own, the Vizio M3D550SL and the Samsung UN46C8000. It would be hard to "go back" to the "black levels" of my other sets, even though they are not terrible. I also love the “look” of the TV. Sleek, modern, super thin bezel gives emphasis to the picture rather than the hardware.
Summary: Liked it, but returned it within a week after receipt after noticing bigger set (60-inch Sony KDL60W630B without 3D which is ok with me) was lowered to same price as this one (1,298). The larger set is better value for me since I didn't really want 3D.
Summary: I must admit I am very pleasantly surprised. Picture is excellent, its easy to move around the different functions. It looks rich and well made. The only thing missing and this is industry wide, and that's a keyboard. If you're going to give someone access to the internet then we need a keyboard. I would have to add the only "CON" which is a pretty BIG one. You can only steam videos from the few apps that are available.
