Summary: I bought this TV without going to a store to see the picture because I purchased a sony 50 inch bravia model about 7 years ago and it had a wonderful picture. Unfortunately, this new 60 inch model which I thought would have a picture at least as good as my old bravia, is not nearly as good.
Summary: I would probably have given the TV a 5/5 if it weren't for the terrible design decisions Sony made regarding the wall mounting design of this TV. The design of the TV prevents you from using any standard wall-mounting kit so you have to use their built-in kit.
Summary: Have to agree with other negative reviews. Just got tv and what a dissapointment. Bluray is great, but tv viewing is washed out, blurry, and refresh rate is an issue. Unfortunatley we bought local, so return is going to be a huge hassle! Always loved my sony products such as viaos.
Summary: The image is OK but the sound is very weak. I decided to buy an additional sound bar for this TV to compensate for this as well. The software tends to crash once in a while, causing a "reboot" of the TV.
Summary: This TV has a great picture and the small speakers sound just fine. There are two things I don't like about this product: 1. The remote control that comes with the TV is able to control my Sony internet enabled Blueray player but has no button to bring up the blueray disc menu.
Summary: We bought this as a replacement for a 42" LG that we've had for about 6 years. The Sony is good but there are a few flaws that prevent it from being awesome. As another reviewer mentioned the colors are off. When watching dimly lit scenes, things that are blue show up as purple.
Summary: The volume behaves very randomly even whilst watching the same channel. Requires constant changing of the TV and Cable volume controls. Could be quite frustrating changing device. Example from DVD player back to cable and back.
