Summary: I received my KDL-55HX850 as a refurb replacement from Sony for my 10-month-old KDL-55HX820. I had wierd problems with the HX820 almost from the start, but I couldn't pin down the source of the problem. Finally about four weeks ago, it just shut down and started blinking a two red LED pattern.
Excellent TV If you take the time to learn what it can do.

Summary: I love this tv but am sort of surprised in the fact that it came without a manual.. If I hadn't had a little knowledge of how these things work, I would have been lost in the setting up process. The cost was high enough so that I would expect to see a more thorough set up and user manual.

Summary: Really is a great TV so far. There are two minor issues with it though that cause me to give a 4/5. 1. The stock sound that comes with the TV is borderline terrible. This is obviously where they save a lot of money. Seriously, the sound is really really bad.
