Summary: I received this TV and was instantly impressed. One, for the price and quality. This TV shows an amazing picture quality with a lot of Sony internet apps. I however wished that Pandora was included. There are apps that vizio have that this one does not. All together, this TV is a beautiful TV and I would recommend it to anyone that is seeking a 55" TV.
Summary: Great picture. Plugged in the ethernet cable (we don't have cable TV) and the TV walked us through a brief set up. This TV is in a basement playroom and my 4 kids use it everyday. The ONLY thing to nit pick about would be the sound quality which is only OK. The remote has a green "Netflix" button on it, so even my 4 year old can turn on the TV and go straight to Netflix.
Summary: This TV produces best picture I have ever see on TV. I used VideoSecu Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket for Most 32"- 65" LED LCD Plasma TV mount to hag it on the wall. Took me about 1 hour to do (done wiring beforehand). In another hour my wife found me sitting in front of this TV with my mouth open. Colors are bright, clear, lifelike. Love it. One thing I wish that the frame was a bit thinner, it is not ugly but it is about an inch wide and I wish it was thinner.
Summary: my old rca rear projection took a crap so I upgraded to this sony bravia and I love it price was good at 1100 love the Netflix button even though I didn't buy it for that it was a nice bonus my xbox 360 is great on it have only one complaint the speakers r not the greatest but I got a bose surround sound so I rarely even use the tv speakers overall love the tv
Summary: This it the best TV I have owned that has all we will ever need and the Blue Ray HD Picture is quite clear and very clear down to their eye color. The 3D is outstanding and gives us a super viewing experience. I highly recommend the Sony TV.
Summary: I bought this tv when a local store had them on sale, after deciding to get an internet tv. I am by no means an expert, but I have been impressed by this tv. The visuals are very clear, even for non-HD channels, and the sound comes through just as good even without the aid of any additional speaker systems. Set-up was easy, the internet interface isn't difficult to figure out nor was it hard to set up new accounts to different sites or download new apps.
Summary: After looking at the available TV's I selected this one. Other reviews indicate visible light on the edges of the screen, I have not seen this on the one I received. The only problem I had was how to attach external speakers. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Sony help to discover that RKN215PM would work. However the part is not available from Sony and no one else shows the part. I did find that Radio Shack had the part I needed.
Summary: I did a lot of research leading up to this decision. I was originally leaning towards the "top" brands that consumer reports and cnet were recommending. Those brands are Samsung, Panasonic, and LG. To be fair, this Sony rated well with consumer reports, but you can't just go by reviews, one has to go see the t.v. on display at a store, and that's what I did.
