Just a few weeks after the warranty coverage the giant black box turned completely dark. The usage is probably around 1000 hours. This is my second HDTV by Sony. The first one died after about 3 years with minimum usage. Lesson learned. No more Sony!#$$^#$@%^&*&)(! Read more

This TV is great. I am totally impressed with all the input options, features and the easy set up. the HD PQ is amazing. I have my PS3 and Onkyo SR606 connected and I am very impressed by the picture quality. The 24p is just amazing. Blu- ray's look unreal. The sound output could be only the issue but if you A/V receiver connected, no problems. Overall, I am a totally satisfied Sony customer once again. Read more

This is a LARGE TV. It is truly a movie-going experience. With the lights out, I feel like I have my own personal screening room. The TV has so many inputs you can really use any components you have. The screen image is sharp and wonderful. The only con I could think of is that for some reason when you turn the TV on a bar on the top that indicates the resolution and channel etc stays on screen for much longer then I would like. Just OK, nothing spectacular at all, would have purchased 120htz Sharp for less money looking back, not "bright" at all, takes allot of adjustments to get a somewhat realistic picture, picture is clean and clear, colors are ok, just not as "bright" as I am use too, actually thought something was wrong with it when I first hooked it up, but after an hour of adjustments, again it was just ok, dissapointed Read more

We watch BD movies on this TV as well as regular DVDs and the picture quality is astounding! Even watching TV, whether HD or SD the picture is great. The ease of setting this TV up is great. The menu is interactive and allows you to exactly what you want it to do. I tend to watch TV while doing my dishes and would have to turn our old TV towards the kitchen to see what was on, now the TV stays in one place! Movie nights tend to happen at our house more then ever, too. Read more

Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-52V4100 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV 1 My Sony Bravia V series model arrived damaged after 10 days from placing my order. Amazon was very unapologetic and now I will have to wait another 10 days. On top of it the price has since dropped. Amazon is a)not willing to expedite shipment of the replacement TV and b) not willing to match the now lower price of the same TV model. In short, Amazon's service provided an overpriced and damaged viewing experience. Read more
