Summary: I bought this model on sale from Amazon and I definitely happy I did so. Very high quality picture. Sound is good, but I use a Sony Blu-Ray/Home Theater with the TV and that is the best way for this system. In fact, I recommend this TV as the perfect companion to a Sony Home system. For sizing, I am using this TV in a room where the viewers are 10-15 feet from the screen...this TV does very nicely for those dimensions.
Summary: After four days of minimal use, screen shuddered and picture went black. Then audio crashed.Hooked old set up to same connection and old unit operated fine.Sony has "Assembled in Mexico" on new package. When working, unit operated much like a 60hz set with juddering on action programs and a tint issue.Sony in name -only product and not up to expectations.Bought through non-Amazon retailer.Returned non-working unit.
Summary: The TV Is very clear, but I wish it had more HDMI Ports. With everything being HDMI These days, it only has 2 ports, which I Feel is low. I bought an HDMI Switch though that allows me to hook up 4 HDMIS to one input and that seems to work great with the tv . Other then that, it is a solid tv.
Summary: Typical Sony quality...this is a no nonsense television that does what it needs to do. It is not a "smart tv," but I already had Apple TV which does everything a smart tv would do. I bought this to replace a TCL television that was pretty nice up until I broke off the antenna connector and it killed all the inputs...been 3 months and still waiting for the warranty service parts to show up..
Summary: This was a gift for my parents and they love the picture as well as the way the TV it self looks . They are in their 80s and had no problem hooking it up. Every time I talk to them they rave about the color of the picture and how clear it is.
Summary: This tv was a great value, however I believe the description is misleading. The TV is not a true LED television, and while it is "smartphone ready" it is in no way a "smart TV" which we found disappointing.
Summary: my top television. i did not purchase from amazon, as i like to pay for expensive things as i see them. i bought the 50 inch from pc richards for 600 and i am in love with it. it has a beautiful interface for usb file management. i also extended my warranty on it, but it seems like i will have no problems with it i hope. ive had it for a month now and i am still amazed at how it makes the 1080p quality of the ps3 and xb360 look. my tv never leaves hdmi output.
