Summary: 1st set was defective after 1 week. Sony would've had to replace entire front panel of TV after lengthy wait on parts. Their warranty customer support 800# is a real nightmare to access. Instead, I had Amazon replace with a 2nd unit after a pleasant conversation with their customer returns department. The "white glove delivery" perk was not offered either time by the same truck drivers (Ceva freight).
Summary: While I understand that electronics can at times be fragile, I was very disappointed to have the TV malfunction after only 3 hours use. A defective power board needed to be replaced, [which may have happened during shipping] Sony immediatly authorized the warrany work and after a short time for repair it is up and running. I am extemely happy with the quality of the picture and the options that allow you to fine tune how you want to listen and watch.
