Summary: Firstly, I should point out that I have only had this TV a few weeks, and have not yet had the chance to fully test every aspect it offers (3D, blu-ray). I have, however, had enought time to experience most of what it has to offer, and will update the review once I have used some of the additional...
Summary: Did some research and got down to between this and a Samsung. Opted for the Sony but wish i hadnt now. Picture quality on normal teresteral isnt great, HD is ok, but have seen better. What I dont like about the TV is the clear section that runs along the bottom of the screen.
Summary: The picture quality is superb on this TV, additionally it has features that make it future proof e.g. Ethernet and USB sockets to name but a few. I have connected the TV to my router and IP based multimedia centre which enables me to stream multimedia right through it.
Excerpt: Recently there has only been one make when it comes to televisions, Sony. There has also only been one brand that embodies the quality of the item, Bravia. This 46" Widescreen LCD version certainly lives up the name.
Summary: I was worried about the clouding issues that the av forums were talking about, and i decided to take the plunge as What Hi-Fi gave it a dazzling review, and my o my were they right!! this television has a simply stunning vivid picture in bluray i have ever seen it blew me away!!
Summary: I know that the majority of people reading this review are doing so because they can't decide whether this tv is the masterpiece that 'What Hi-Fi' say it is, or the cloud ridden mess that 'AV Forums' will suggest. I know that's what you're thinking because I was in the exact same position.
Summary: After months of looking and getting fed up, finally narrowed it down to Panasonic and Sony. Although not a good set up in shop, the picture of the Sony just jumps off the screen, anyone seeing it in the Sony shops will know what I mean.
Summary: Awesome TV - the HD picture is very vivid. PS3 games look really clear. I have yet to try a Blu ray, but Spiderman 3 via Sky HD was mind blowing - when that sand man is on the screen you can see the individual grains of sand. Ghost rider on Sky HD also looked awesome - it really showcases this TV.
Summary: I am very happy with this TV. Picture is great, showing none of the blocking or similar artefacts that I have noticed on friends' flat screen TVs. I'm now re-thinking my plan to get Sky+HD and an upscaling DVD upgrade as I'm not sure that I'll notice that big an improvement.
