Summary: I was looking for a good 46" TV for my living room months ago. I found different ones and narrowed my list down. I was pretty certain i'd end up buying one from Best Buy. I had it down to 3 or 4 and this TV was one of them. I looked around a bit and eventually found it on Amazon new for $967. It was on best buy for either $1500 or $1600. I obviously saved quite a bit. I've been using this TV for months and I absolutely love it.
Summary: Note: I bought this TV as a pure "monitor" - no need for sound or fancy internet features as I have other machinery to do all that. I can only really comment on the visuals. On those, it delivers. Picked up at Best Buy for $700 all in, ex-floor model but not a mark on it that I have found. Seemed like a good deal. Picture is vivid, bright and very contrasty from my normal viewing angles - ~7' couch centered about 8' from the screen.
Summary: Having used only SONY TVs for over 50 years, I was cautious when my neighbor advised me to get a Samsung flat screen. He had done his homework and purchased a BIG ONE. So I did my homework for about two years and in the end I purchased another SONY, figuring I can't improve upon past success and satisfaction. It seemed that most people recommended getting a larger size than I was focused on, so I did get the 46 inch instead of a 42 inch.
Summary: I shopped around for over a month and no one was able to meet the price of this TV on Amazon. This was the first large item I have ordered online. However, it turned out great, the shippers called to set up a time to drop the TV off and it came in perfect condition. I trust any product fulfilled by Amazon.
Summary: After a ton of research, I found this Sony TV to be the best of the bunch. I did wait for the price to go down and it was worth it. The picture and sound are really great. The only suggestion I would make is to add in the USB Wi-Fi Adapter to your cart immediately when purchasing. It allows your TV to be connected to your wireless router but does not come with the TV. I paid $78 and it is worth it.
Summary: If you're looking for an LCD/LED, you can't go wrong with Sony's Bravia KDL46EX710. The picture quality is very solid, especially for gaming. My only complaint is that the picture isn't always consistent for viewing movies. The sound quality is very passable for the small rear facing speakers, but I would strongly recommend purchasing Sony's HT-CT150 sound bar to compliment the system. This T.V.
Summary: This is a great TV and right now on Amazon the price makes it very worthwhile. When I bought it Amazon's price was 2/3 of Bestbuy or Crutchfield. Considering the features for the cost this one is one that you don't want to pass up. The only gripe I have is with the firmware. I find I have to "reboot" mine about once a week. By reboot I mean that I have to turn off the power save switch which actually cuts power to everything and causes it to restart.
Summary: I bought this TV a month ago, I searches everywhere for a good tv for a grand, eventhough the reviews were not so good, I listened to it's specs, and man was I right. The best picture I've ever seen, qriosity, 4 hdmi ports.... And a lot more.
Summary: When my mother needed a new tv, I read about lots of choices, searched out reviews to read, and went and looked at televisions in stores locally. From all the information that I found, the Sony Bravia seemed by far the best choice. Mom loved her new 46"Sony Bravia tv and so did I! Within a short time, I ordered myself one, as well. (Because I enjoy sports programs, I bumped up to a 55".) I was able to purchase both televisions at very good prices.
